Donna, you have always been such an inspiration to me. It would have been so easy for you to just look at yourself, decide that you were beyond hope, and give up on yourself.

You didn't do that. Instead, you pick yourself up everyday and you do the best that you can do in that moment. So what if you're not perfect everyday. No one is. Look at how well you're doing over the long term. You've lost almost 100 pounds! Give yourself a big pat on the back, girlfriend. Then pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Don't try to give up on the coffee all at once. Just drink one less cup today than you did yesterday. Tomorrow maybe you can drink one less cup than you did today. When you feel well enough, fix yourself a good meal. You deserve it. You are worth it!

I hope your hubby got your closet finished. I like the idea of the curtains across the opening. It will make the room look neat, and it will also be cheerful.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your cousin. Losing a loved one is never easy, and nothing anyone can say will really help you with the loss. Just know that you have lots of us who love you (even if we never have met). You have such a loving heart, and you are so kind. You've touched the lives of so many people in a positive way.

Be good to yourself today, Donna. You deserve it.

Katie

Kystar - you sound MUCH better! Good for you picking up and starting fresh - and yes, definitely paint the LR - I am originally from FLA, and dark rooms in winter make me hostile! I ended up painting my family room ORANGE, and I never did get around to putting up curtains LOL! Next step is our bedroom - I just about fell over when my DGH suggested FUSCHIA!!! What's gotten into him.

Have a happy day, Kystar, I;m thinking of you.

Try some paint with a hint of yellow in it. It'll make even the cloudiest day seem a little more sunny. My mom painted my room yellow when I was a little girl, and I was always getting yelled at to turn off my bedroom light, when it was already off.

Go to this link eBay Seller's Guide, and it will help you with all of the information that you need to sell on eBay. It's not hard. You can do this! Besides the excitement of having some auctions up will help keep you cheered up, and the extra money will always help.

Donna - how very neat! I have always wanted to take pioano lessons, but alas! have no piano and no room for one. Your library sounds really great - our town is in process of getting approvals to build a new one, and when it's finished it will bve like yours - offering all kinds of neat classes, etc. Sounds like you had a great day (gotta tell ya, I would just about sell my first born for KFC with all the sides!) Good job with the one teaspoon for a taste strategy - I think you did fine!
