LOL Donna. Well, it would have to wait til after the Holidays, I keep adding tasks to my list.

I had 2 Atkins shakes and for dinner pot roast, cauliflower, and salad.

After dinner I had diet chocolate soda with a smidge of LC icecream and a dolop of cream, YUMMMMMMY. We'll see what my weight is tomorrow.

I found red flannel and strawberry shortcake fabric for the girl's nightgown. I'm going to fusible web cutouts of the strawberry shortcake onto the flannel. I got all the pieces cut out tonight too. Tomorrow I'll be a sewing fool.

Gonna go watch "I, Robot" with DH now. DD brought it over for us to watch, she gets movies to preview from Blockbuster since she works there. I think it will be out for the general public to view next week.

OK,Barb, I have a very strong feeling that you are going to hit the 130's before 2 weeks is up. I'm not psychic (if I was I'd have my own TV show), but I get really strong feelings sometimes, and I'm usually right.
Well consider this another "psychic" prediction that has come true. I weighed in at 139.8 this morning!!!!!!!! You would think I would be all hyper and excited, but I'm strangely calm. I guess I'll wait and see how long it sticks and then I'll be like :jumpgreen and :jump: and and and :bellydanc

It's been a looooooooooooooooong time coming. FINALLY.

I REALLY pushed the water yesterday and the green tea. PLUS I had seconds at dinner and a really fatty dessert/treat. I might try that again today and see what happens.

I'm going to work like a horse today on the nightgown. I want to get it DONE, TODAY. I have so many other things to do, I need to plow right through it. I picked up a Kelly green mat and glass yesterday to frame the 8X10 glossy we got from Santa. I'm going to paint the frame gold and crackle red on top of it and hang it in my diningroom. It will be a nice addition to our Christmas decorations. PLUS it's autographed by the Big Fella too. He might be appearing on our local WB channel......Channel 9-WGN. If any of you get that out of Chicago on cable or satelite, he is scheduled to be on the 17th from 7am-9am central time. What a hoot!!!!!

Better get at it.

Thanks Donna, I like the way your mind works!!!!!!!

You're welcome Barb. Postive thinking helps too. Sometimes I get these strong feelings and they usually prove me right. Why is it that I'm not getting that feeling for the last 1/2 pound that I have to lose?
Have fun with all the sewing. It must give you such a good feeling to know how much love you have put into those jammies.
Next Wednesday my hubby and I are going to surprise visit our grandkids. Only, grandpa isn't going to arrive at the same time I am. He's going to get there about 5 minutes after me, dressed as Santa. The kids are 4,2,and 7 months so it should be just precious. Can't wait!!

Oh that should be loads of fun. Think any of them will get scared??? I know pre-schoolers can sometime be afraid of the big elf. I hope not and hope you get some really cute pictures!!!

I finished the nightgown. It turned out really cute!!!! It will be a bit big on her, but that's okay, I didn't pre-shrink the fabric. I appliqued some Strawberry Shortcake pieces onto pockets I added and along the bottom. It really is cute!!!! I hope she'll LOVE it. I need to knit her some slippers to go along with it. I still have to fashion a French Cafe for my SIL out of a papier mache purse I found. And I have to spray a hinged tin for my DD in which I am going to pack her some green tea. I'm going to undercoat it in gold and crackle red on it, like the frame I mentioned above and then paint Chinese Characters on it. I'm going to have to research some that mean, Health, Happiness, Peace and Love. or something mushy like that. I got her a bottle of vanilla s/f syrup, DANDR, Protein Power Gram Counter and still need to get her one of Sharron's books. She really wants to LC, so I figure this will set her up for success.

I still want to sew mittens out of some fleece I have left from last year, knit hats, and scarves. I also am planning to make a card game board for my BIL. I also need to come up with something for a Bunco gift exchange for next tuesday.

UGH!!!!!!! LOTS to do still. OH and I promised DH I would make Rum Balls this year. Aye-Yi-Yi!!!!!!!!!!!11

Kim, I completely missed your post yesterday. and.........YEEHAW the scale read 139.8 again this morning!!!! It stuck over night WOOOHOOO. I wish I had some ketostix to see if I'm back in ketosis. Ah well, what's it matter, eh? I've officially lost 5 pounds on the green tea so far. I have 4.5 pounds to go to meet my goal weight. This could actually become a reality.

I'm trotting over to Curves this AM and then going to get my dishes done. My poor kitchen. I have ignored it for 2 days..............what a mess. But I'm gonna get the dishes done and then dive into making more Christmas presents. I made a pair of fleece mittens last night. They turned out pretty cute. So that was a success. They are adult sized tho and I need to fiddle with the pattern to get kid sizes figured out. I am going to try the hats too. (I bought a fleece pattern book the other day) It says to enlarge the pattern, but I think the one that's in there will be fine. If it turns out too small I will add another panel to it. I want to double line them so they are REALLY warm. And I may knit some slippers for the kids too and line them with the fleece.

Let's see..............what did I eat yesterday?

I dashed off to Curves, so beforehand I slugged down an Atkins shake.
I had some leftover chicken salad on one piece of LC toast for lunch.
dinner was frozen meatballs cooked in gravy consisting of beef broth, cream cheese, mushroom juice from canned mushrooms, a dash of allspice and worcestershire sauce. I threw in the mushrooms last minute to heat. Had fresh steamed broccoli and salad along with it. I had seconds of everything.

Then I couldn't stand it anymore and made LC brownies from scratch with Almond flour, cream cheese, butter, cocoa powder, melted baking chocolate, splenda, a bit of wheat gluten, and vanilla syrup. They tasted almost like the real thing. And after cooling just a bit, we had a bit of LC icecream ontop. WAS THAT GOOD!!!!!!

And I'm down another pound this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I expected the scale to go UP after the brownies. Someone pick me up off the floor. So I weighed in at 138.6 this AM!!!!! :jumpgreen

I drank my 4 cups of tea and water all day.

I got 5 cute fleece hats made for the grandkiddies. Sharon's kids are 8,6, and 3. The eight yr old's is purple and black, the 6 yr olds is army green and off white, and the 3 yr old's is red and yellow. They all match their coats. The other set of kids are 3 and 1. They are getting a pink and white one (the 3 yr old) and the baby is getting a mulit-color one with army green, red and navy blue. I think I will whip one up for myself today. It only took me about 25 mins to make each one. They are sooooooooo easy and fun to make.

Way to go Barb...I knew I was right and you would be on your way now. Only 4 pounds to go....hmmm, should I make a prediction? Nope, don't think I'll touch that one just yet. lol You certainly are a busy lady, I thought I was the only one that has problems sitting down. I don't think any of my grandkids will be scared of Santa (aka Poppa), but I'm a little worried he might get his beard ripped off. Just have to wait and see I guess.

LOL Maxi!!!!! I guess you're RIGHT!!!! The only thing is to wait and see if it's going to stick for good. I'm sippin' on my last decaf cup of the night. I made the GT with the Vanilla Rooibos with a shot of vanilla s/f syrup. It is too yummy to describe.

Donna, I hope the kiddies have a GREAT time with Santa. Ours had a good time, they waited PATIENTLY for their turn on Santa's lap. None of them were afraid. YAY!!! I thought ALL the parents of the kids were bringing gifts for their kids for Santa to give them. We brought some for our 3 and the other 2's parents brought some. We were the only ones that did that. And then Santa started handing out their presents to OTHER kids. I was a bit upset. It got straightened out tho. I guess there was a lot of miscommunication about that.....................leave it up to DH and his partner to mess that up. LOL, it figures. I thought they had it figured out did, but they didn't. Just can't leave that kind of stuff up to the men. (no offense if any guys are reading this. ) I just wonder if the eight year old suspected anything. She's a pretty smart cookie.

I got a pair of fleece mittens made for the 3 yr old boy to match his "fireman's" hat. I have 4 more pair to make. I bought a pattern, McCall's for $1.99 at Hancock Fabrics. Sheeeeeeeeeeesh what a crappy pattern. The directions are incomplete. So I had to fumble through and figure it out myself. I did, they turned out fine. So now I know what I'm doing and will get the rest made tomorrow, all to match their cutie-patutie hats. I started on the tin box for my DD tonight while watching Survivor.

I bought some cute little miniature wrought iron chairs and table for my SIL's French Cafe "purse" I'm making for her. She's all into the French Cafe theme, so I found a papier mache purse at JoAnn's and am going to build a little cafe scene INSIDE it. I found shutters too, which I will put on either side of the door I'm going to build for it. I also want to make some little window frames and back them with clear plastic from packaging for the "glass" and have little cloth curtains hanging inside them. I found some darling little topiary pots and a garden bench too, oh and a pillar. I think I will faux some bricks and "crumbling plaster" on the walls, and also am going to build an awning with some striped fabric. Her name is Julie, so I think I will call it Cafe Chez Julia. She will get a big kick out of it.

My list is still long on the stuff I have to do, but I'm getting there. I'm not in panic mode YET.

WE'll see what my weight will be tomorrow. I had a piece of LC bread with chicken salad for lunch and grilled cheese on LC bread and soup for dinner. B-fast was a shake. Fell a little short on the water today since we were out and about. (I just can't drink my water when I'm out without having to find a bathroom IMMEDIATELY within 15 mins of sluggin down some water. Maybe I should arm myself with some depneds. LOL)

Good lord, Barb! You are a regular Martha Stewart!

Can I put in my order for some fleece stuff?

Take care, my dear!

LOLOLOLOL Kelly, hehe, but I'm at home, not in jail. LOLOLOL I've never thought of myself anywhere NEAR her category. I couldn't dedicate that much time to the cooking she has people do and I certainly wouldn't raise my own chickens for their eggs. I just go nuts around Christmas time crafting up a storm for homemade gifts. It's fun. And besides, my budget dictates it. I really should start this stuff in January and work at a leisurely pace throughout the year, but somehow life gets in the way.

Well, I was UP a smidge today on the scale, but not too bad and TOM is due to arrive any moment. I can feel it sorta comin'.

I blew off Curves today, just had too many mittens to sew. I got them all done today and started on a Green Tea tin for my DD. I did the crackle red over gold paint. It turned out AWESOME. I found 2 chinese Characters that mean "long and life" for the top. So I painted the characters in black. The COOL part is that they look like her initials, "K and L." She's into Asian culture, so she will LOVE this. I also painted the characters from my green tea box that MAY mean "green tea" (I really have no idea). I am going to fill the box with decaf and reg green tea. I can't wait to give it to her. Rick said he wants one too and he's not even into Asian culture, LOLOLOLOL.

I will TRY to get over to Curves tomorrow. I think I only have 2 projects left..........the card game board for BIL and the French Cafe vingette for SIL. Gonna start on those tomorrow after I get all my sewing mess cleaned up.

Tomorrow I am going to also get my sewing mess cleaned up and start on BIL's card game board and SIL's French Cafe vignette. And then I think I will be DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH and then I have to make rum balls. I promised DH I would make them this year. Last year I tried making them with pork rinds...............ewwwwwwww. Had to throw them out. I may add some splenda to these and almond flour and see if that works. I will make a teeny batch and try that first. If that doesn't work, I will make them high carbs and all. And I WILL have a couple now and then during the holidays. I just can NOT resist them. I hope the lower carb version turns out.
