Default gregg's woe 2005

Ok here we go again, got on the dreaded scale this morning to see where I am. 190. Which is 6 lbs less than last January and 20 lbs lighter than 2 januarys ago so maybe I AM making some progress. Will spend the day shopping for my staples, eggs, cheese, some hamburger, steak if it's still on sale, a couple of water bottles, a bag of salad caluliflower and some salad dressing. Will make the mock potato casserole that I actually have been missing. I'd like to make some chile too if I can find those beaners. Feeling energized and ready to go! Look out world Yoyo man is back on track!!

Gregg!!!
So glad to see you back at LCE and back to low carbing! It sounds like you've been maintaining pretty well, so getting into the swing of things should go ok.
Good for you, bud, we missed ya!

Thanks Andrea!! I like the liitle kid idea. Can't remember who started it but it's a lot of fun to see all the little kids shots. I sometimes wonder if the visitors think we really are a bunch of little kids.

Thanks Shelly! Go SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOners!!!!!

Good day eating wise today. No temptations. Even drinking some water. Filet mignon for dinner tonight with sauteed mushrooms, MP casserole, and a tossed salad. Dang, I love this woe.

Thanks for the perspective kim, I guess you can measure progress in all sorts of ways. I don't expect to be rail thin, just lean and cut.
Well day 3 today with no tempatations or indulgences. Feeling suprisingly good with only a little bit of a headache. Actually got on the floor and did some stretching and some light calisthenics. 50 crunches and 20 pushups, and had to split the pushups into 2 sets of ten. It's a start. Trying to stay off the scale and think long term.

Thanks Kim. I'm trying to take a cue from you and leave the scale in the closet. It's difficult, but it's kinda nice too. In any case it's only a number. I'm really not trying to lose weight per say, but inches right?

Now THAT"S a pic I want to see on your blog!
Eating was good today, Somebody brought in donuts at work and although I forgot for an instant that I don't eat that crap, I came to my senses in time to feel pretty good about passing them up. I do miss the cafe vanilla coffee from the machine. Trying to drink more water. I can get in a liter during the day without spending all day driving to and from a bathroom. When I get home all I want to do is make a big pot of coffee. I could get in another liter in the evening if I put a little more effort into it. I'm off work tomorrw YEA! so I will try to get in at least a half gallon. Got one of those keto-stix to turn a nice shade of purple! And I've got that funny keto taste thing going. Ah ketosis, better get some of those Listerine breath thingies.

Talking Re: gregg's woe 2005

Those unexpected temptations are the worst Kim. Living alone, except for Tessie, my adopted big white fluffy feline, I don't have any junk food in the house, except for my Jimmie Johnson chocolate racecar, wrapped to look the like the real Lowes #48 Montecarlo. So most of the time I can prepare for possible danger zones. But when somebody offers me an unexpected temptation, it can make me a little week in the knees. That will get better pretty soon though. It takes a while to reroute those thought patterns.

Ate good today. Did some crunches and some push ups. And some crusher bars and a set of curls. Had a couple salads and a flilet with sauteed mushrooms for dinner (again.) Picked up a pot roast for the crockpot for tomorrow. No headache but some serious carb cravings. The Lowes 48 car is still safe though, for now. I couldn't eat the Lowes 48 car. Could I? Hmmmmmmm
