Beachie and Tom, always a pleasure to have you stop by my Journal!

Been doing the laundry thing and now onto mopping the bathroom floors..... a chore I always detest However, on the brighter side of things, almost finished with my chores for the weekend.

Have to go and gather the last seeds of my beloved morning glories and moonflowers and take the remainder of the vines to the creek.... Good thing I do not have any neighbors within eye's distance or they would probably not be too pleased with my removal process. I have just had so many requests from people for seeds next spring that I wanted to save as many as possible. If anyone else cares to have some, let me know. If you leaf through this LARGE journal of mine, you can actually see what those vines grew to be........a continue display of beauty both in the mornings and at night..... hence the naems "morning glories and moonflowers!.... simply beathtaking for me, but then again, they don't call me the Texanflowr for nothing!

Rhonda - You sure do deserve a couple days of Relaxation! Why are you removing vines? My morning glories come abck every year without my doing a thing.

Yes, you deserve a saintly halo--for Mildred, yes, but even more for bathroom floors.

I'm not visiting Fitday again until Monday. But I am minding the scales, and keeping up my fitness routine. We all have our strategies!

It's Saturday. Do something fun!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Rhonda. I hope that you enjoy your garden time even though its clean up and not planting something new.

That is so sweet that you help out Mildred in that way. You truly are even more beautiful inside than out and that's saying a LOT!

Barb, thanks again for stopping by! I am with you...... not even going near the dreaded scales or fitday until Monday morning.

Rob, maybe I shouldn't remove the vines then? They are dead and unsightly, but if they come back next year........ well then I think I will take your suggestion and just deal with the dead vines clinging to the fence line

Kim, the only thing I was tempted to eat on Thanksgiving dinner was the fresh homebake Parkerhouse rolls which I made... however, once they were out of the oven and the smell no longer lingered in the house of freshly baked rolls, I was okay. I always remind myself how I felt and what I looked like last year.... it's enough to make me step back from those highly tempting things from time to time.

Katie, you are so sweet.... I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!

Rhonda....Mildred is indeed blessed to have a friend like you. I believe in the law of sowing and reaping...so I believe that when you are older there will be some sweet person to do the same things for you. You truly are an inspiration to us all

Thanks Vickie. I am one that believes you reap what you sow in this lifetime.... I have done enough BAD deeds early on in sowing my wild oats so to speak and breaking a few hearts along the way, so I must behave now!

Had a ham, spinach and pepperjack cheese omlet for breakfast this morning. Quite full to say the least. My water consumption over the last couple of days has been absolutely terrible. Going to try REALLY hard to up my water intake for the weekend. It's so difficult when I am not sitting at my desk with a full glass of water in front of me to remind me to DRINK!

Have a great weekend everyone ..... off to watch some romantic movie so I can cry at the end

Well......... my entire house is sparkling clean for at least ONE day

Had some more leftover turkey for lunch today with some pepperjack cheese melted on top and green beans on the side roasted with a little garlic. Made the kiddos a tuna casserole, but certainly not l/c, so probably will just have a salad and maybe........ a cocktail tonight. Feel like treating myself for a change

Monday morning is weight check in, but since I am right where I actually should be..... since I am no longer 25....... Hopefully, all will be well. I did buy two more suits today for the office from the consignment shop by the Plaza........ I am thrilled. Two nice wool suits (size 8) for less than $100.00! So who needs to shop those Black Friday sales ads????????

Fantastic buys on the suits Flower - and a size 8! Woohoo! And black wool - divine! I would never be an 8 unless I can shrink my bones!!!! A shop assistant handed me a size 8 & a 10 the other week - flatly refused to let me have the 12 - INSISTED it would be too large - so I called her in to see me in the 8 - she was very embarrassed and went out muttering 'can't understand why you look so small then!' and brought back the 12 - fitted like a glove! Although that was a silk chiffon skirt - must say I am now into 10 pants - as long as they are loose fit or stretch.

Well Beachie....... perhaps you have more "on top" than I? I am truthfully flatchested or close to that (even with implants) ...... never had any hips unless I weighed 200 pounds..... so it is all portioned for a woman, eh?

Hello Flower!
For a good tear jerker I can whole heartedly recommend 'Truly Madly Deeply.' I saw it the other night for the first time. Very interesting. Rather British TV like as that is where the writer director came from. Alan Rickman in a nice guy role for a change. He was the bad guy in Die Hard 1.

Congratulations on the wool suits. Two for a C note IS real good. When I was selling life & health insurance as well as other products I wore a suit every day. For a guy it is much easier. Two jackets and a few trousers and the rest is interchangeable. I bought all my suits used and had them altered to my form. Something about a suit puts a sparkle in ladies eyes. But I think that is simply a money thing. They were death to my sales when peddling industrial chemicals. UNTIL I learned how to use them correctly. After a frowning cold call I would come back to the same prospects with oil stained dress slacks I wore while working on my own trucks. Dirt under the nails goes farther with some fellas than a tie.

I ended up helping fix a friends car on Black Friday. Pouring rain of course, always is when I work on cars.

After I sample all the Teeccino Herbal Coffees I might start preaching to ya. My water intake has not gone down as the tea is leaving my diet.

You may not have much on top, and your hips are very slim, but you are the absolute epitome of elegance, Rhonda. I showed DH your pic and told him that's what I want to look like when I grow up Of course, having a DD cup since age 11, I know I'll never get there, but I can dream, can't I? Thank goodness J.Lo made "junk in the trunk" a positive attribute!

Wonderful deal on the suits! You go, girl! I bet you look terrific in in them

Thank you so much for the supportive words in my journal. It truly made my day.
