Rhonda - enjoy your clean home for a day! I know what that's like. Vacuum for 90 minutes and then watch the dog hair accumulate. Good buy on those suits.

Stephen - Truly, madly, Deeply is one of my favorite all time movies! It originally came out in 1991 but I never heard of it until I happened to catch it about 6 years ago.

Stephen, I am so going to have to rent that movie! Thanks for the review

Katie, you are such a sweetheart. I think you are beautiful as well. I used to be a runway model many years ago... Had to give that career up because my first EXDH was so jealous.... However, probably a good thing since the lifespan of that career is VERY limited. Decided if I couldn't model I would go to law school..... probably a bad choice as well!

Have a great day everyone

Hey Rob, I bought one of those shop vacs yesterday at Home Depot for the dog/cat hair in my house ..... got tired of it stopping up my vaccum cleaner each weekend. Just happened upon it yesterday and got a steal. It was a $70 unit but since they had ran out of the ones that were on sale, they substituted this one for $19.99. Total bill was $21.44 for a $70.00 vac! Kind of large to move around, but will only need to use it in the great room and living room for the most part.

I had some almonds and an ounce of cheese for breakfast. Busy preparing my week's worth of lunches now while I finish up the remainder of the laundry. Been a very relaxing last few days..... I have so enjoyed my time off.

They are predicting snow tomorrow and heavy rain tonight.... Guess I better get my butt in gear and go and grab some firewood so it isn't all wet and perhaps I can enjoy a fire later this week. Going to use my new shop vac to vaccum the fireplace out. That will be much easier and I can put the ash in my garden.

Going to make some chipolte burritos tonight for the kiddos. I will just have mine as Kim does without the shell on either green beans or romaine lettuce.

Took out my food scale this morning as I will be weighing all portions starting Monday again. Portion control for me, at this time in this journey, is the key to my success. It will be a year in exactly one month since I began this journey.... Never did I think it would be possible to lose the weight and maintain it now for three months.... I cannot loose sight from whence I came and to where I will go! (So better go and bury the almonds again Rhonda!)

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Rhonda - Recipe sounds wonderful and i can scale it to 2 servings and that would be just right for me. (and I'll bet I can work in some chipotle chili powder in there somewhere, lol). Good deal on that shop vac! Been using the blackened seasoning on everything. This morning i made a blackened omelet and last night blackened broccoli. lol

Oh Rob, the blackened seasoning is my absolute favorite....... well, besides chipolte.... they run neck to neck!

Figured out I can use the shop vac to clean my fireplace, so as soon as I quite being obessive with posting here..... going to go and play with it in the fireplace. Fortunately, haven't had a fire in there for about a week, so shouldn't have the "melt down" factor!

The recipe sounds awesome, Rhonda. Chile Rellenos are one of my favorite dishes, and impossible to get here with the kind of sauce that I like. I think I'll plan to make this later in the week, as soon as the jalapeno burns on my fingers heal I knew there was a reason that I don't chop chilis without rubber gloves, just wish I had remembered the reason before I did it!

Your breakfast sounds good. Maybe I'll go digging for my almonds (I hide them from myself and DH), and have that in the morning with some more green tea

Have a wonderful Monday, I hope the weather stays nice for your commute!

Tina and Katie, thanks for stopping by! Heading out the door to the office in about 10 minutes. It is dark, rainy and cold outside, but can handle that as long as the snow and ice don't appear. Supposed to snow later this morning and then later in the week. Winter is here....

Hope all my friends have a wonderful day!

Rob and Kim, I so remember my resolve NOT to drive on ice. Watching out my 21st floor office windiow frequently and the moment it starts sleeting or icing... I'm out of here! Probably too late then come to think of it.... Need to d/l one of those weather alert thingies that goes on your desktop! Sure the system administrator will love that

It is freezing outside and extremely windy, and of course, they would be the north winds ... Anyway, I dressed warm and in layers and took a blanket out to the car this morning in the event I get stranded one day/night. Must remember to throw a couple of bottle waters in there too. I have read of people being stranded in a snow bank for days..... well, now that I have efficiently scared myself.... back to work!

Hi Rhonda! I have a friend on my del Sol forum that is outside of Kansas City. He was just posting about how crazy your weather has been the last couple of days. Ours plummeted this weekend too. Oh yeah, and cold wind too. Be safe out there!
