Hey Nita, thanks for stopping by! I do have such wonderful friends here..... Kim, Christmas bonus is earmarked for taxes on the house and personal property taxes on cars.... Bummer, but that's the way I have spent it every year since moving to Missouri. Never paid personal property taxes before in Texas as they don't have them.. must be a rich state or something

Yeah, I think I will just stick with one card if I can't manage to at least buy the kiddos something decent for Christmas without it. Not certain what the DEXH will be sending their way, but know he will at least do something (or he will hear from me!)

Wide awake at 12:30..... hopefully, will get some sleep soon.

Kim, my daughters' father has NEVER sent even a birthday card or present to them in the 15 years or so since we divorced..... so I know what you mean there. They grew to see why I left the man and should have years before.

Rob must finally have worn himself out walking those three dogs, or maybe just doesn't have internet access while dog sitting.

Not certain if I will venture out today for shopping or not. More snow on the ground and thinking maybe some of it might be ice as well. I am such a coward driving on this stuff!

Had Italian sausage last night with some l/c sauce. Veggies were almost non-existent for me too yesterday Kim. I must do better today. Making a pork tenderloin roast today so will find something creative in the veggie way in my pantry hopefully.

    Have a great Sunday everyone!

    Have a great Sunday, Rhonda!

I made the chile rellenos last night, and it was SO GOOD! I coated some chicken breasts with a mix of fajita seasoning and chile powder and grilled them to go along with this, since my DH still eats quite a bit. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome recipe

Katie, you are very welcomed. I am glad you like the recipe. One of my favorites as well. Men can eat more traditionally than women I have found and still loose weight. You are doing great! Glad to see you so dedicated to this WOE.

Good morning Rhonda...I am going to have to check out that recipe. I LOVE chili rellenos.

I have had almost no time to cruise the journals lately so I am just stopping in and saying hello to those who have encouraged and inspired me so much. Oh, by the way, I posted this in my journal too...but, my boss loaned my DS the $$$ for his transmission so I didn't have to break out the credit card...what a relief!

    Have a great sunday

Rhonda - you should be afraid of driving on ice. That will make you extra cautious. I was out of town for a day, just got back Sunday afternoon.

Where is that chile rellenos recipe? I thought i copied it down but can't find it in my files.

My favorite way to make pork tenderloin is pork parmeggiano. cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch slices and pound thin. serve with cabbage noodles and sauce.

Kim..... I love your "Mother" speeches! They are commited to memory so I can give them back to you

Sorry about my absenteeism..... I hibernated the entire weekend.... didn't leave the house once. Much to my dismay, when I opened the garage door to haul the t-bird out this morning..... a tire was flat. Well, I could have changed it but decided not in my business suit. Finally got a ride over to my mom's and borrowed back the mini van I gave her last year..... sheesh, what a morning!

Heather, thanks for your concern. I am so very glad you stopped by.

Vickie, had a couple of your pumpkin muffin thingie's this weekend. Didn't want to stop eating them, but firmly refused to gorge myself so I froze the rest We will see how they taste after unthawing, but it was the safest thing for me to do. Being stuck in a house tends to make you want to eat a little more than usual. Did well tho..... all l/c and around 1400 or so calories each day (including the glass of wine last night). Rob, you should have NEVER told me about red wine only have 2 carbs or so per glass. Now I have to finish up that bottle before it goes rancid!

Did my WATP DVD's this weekend, so wasn't a total couch potato, but close. Tonight will be major cleaning of the kitchen in preparation for cooking yet another feast for the family next weekend.

Hope you guys all have a wonderful week!

Have a great week, Rhonda! I'm so sorry to hear about the flat tire. I just hate that!

Those pumpkin muffin thingies are wonderful. Luckily with 2 of us doing LC and the little guy eating everything we eat, they go fast here.
