Dang Rob......... it sure doesn't seem like I have been eating this wonderful food for three years...... but, it sure has. Strange how things that are wonderful for you in life seems to pass by in a fleeting moment! Must say..... between you and Kim and I would NEVER have made it. You areALWAYS the constant, always, when I sign in. Thank you my friend. Never think you can disappear!

Hey Ms Rhonda!
Thanks for visiting me in my journal!
Bet you guys are getting the same kind of crummy weather we are, huh?
Hope you don't have to get out in it...they are totally discouraging folks here from getting out unless it's an emergency.

I hope that you can win that kitten's trust that you have befriended under your deck. Poor little thing. I also get really steamed at the thought of people who don't properly care for their animals...especially cats.

If you have to *do* a Monday...drive with care and have a great week!

Just a quick stop to say Hi, Rhonda. I always appreciate when you stop in to my journal. You always have an encouraging word, which is what this forum is all about. Thanks.

I hope you had a nice weekend, and that this week is good for you. Please drive carefully in your cold weather. (And you're right about Rob, he is a constant feature here, isn't he, always the lc cheerleader. What would we do without him?)

Hi Rhonda,

Looks like you are getting this terrible ice storm also. I hear you may have electric lines down and people without power. Sure hope you are doing ok and staying safe.

Rhonda, be careful driving out in that nasty weather. We heard there's another storm on its way. Take care. And have a good weekend.

Kim, tell DD1 no thanks needed. It was my pleasure.

Yes, major snow storm is on its way. Still ice and such on the trees, and now snow. You are right Kim, it truly is a thing of beauty if ONLY I can stay at home and admire it as you are from your window. Keep thinking beautiful and peaceful thoughts my friend. This, too, shall pass.

*whew*.. gosh rhonda, i am trying.. i really am..
its odd, because one moment my thoughts are positive, things happen for a reason.. it will work out... he will be fine... blah blah blahb..
then suddenly without warning... i get almost a PANIC attack feeling ...

so strange..

anywho... i am trying to keep the postive thoughts outweighing the other..

i LOVE having this little dining table here next to the window.. its bright, its beautiful view, the pups sit on a little bench i have for them to see out of the window...

PLUS i have my laptop on it.. most of the time with the devilbrew... BUT, its small enough that i can put a tablecloth on it with oh.. say some ROSES that moon bought me for our anniversary, and VOILA! its not a dining room table anymore..

Kim, everything in life happens for a reason. Your little table sounds wonderful. I know you have a beautiful view there where you live... peaceful... quite. Snow moved in last night here and more snow today. I am getting ready to head out to the office, but I told Mr. Boss Man that I wouldn't be staying very long. Not going to get stuck 30 miles from home.

Here is a view of my backyard this morning. The creek is just beyond those trees somewhere...

Have a safe and wonderful weekend everyone!

Rhonda - Aww Thanks for saying that. But you too have kept us hanging in there. Keeps safe from that pretty but inconvenient (at times) snow! Enjoy the weekend!

Thanks Rob and Bert for dropping by. Bert, that picture is part of the woods that surround my house. It is very beautiful and quite. I really lucked into this house with all the trees and nature surrounding it. It's almost like I don't live in the big city.... well, actually a suburb of the big city.

Got some last minute shopping to do today. Why do I always wait until the LAST moment to do Christmas shopping?
