Rhonda I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did with your last employer. They wanted you to work long hours and without pay! Good for you for wanting to go somewhere that is going to appreciate a hard worker like you. Can't wait to hear about the great new job you'll get!!! 3 interviews!!! You are off to an amazing start!

Girls and guy (Rob) thank you so much for stopping by in my absence...... Found a job, or several of them, but promised myself I would take the first one that was offered and was suitable for my needs...... after ten interviews (most of them seconds) and one that was a third in a week..... I took the one I had the third interview with. It is Enviornmental Law, not something I am familiar with, but I expressed my concerns to the lawyers I would be working with. They had no doubt I would adapt quickly.... wish I was so certain! In any event, I begin tomorrow.... nervous to say the least. However, they assured me Saturday's were not something they expected, and strictly a 40 or 50 hour work week unless trial. I can live with that. My former employer was wearing me thin..... and found that I had no time or at least quality time, to spend with my kiddos..... Tough decision, but I had to put my priorities in place and realize that family comes first......

Heading off to the grocery store to purchase my lunches for the week. Doubtful I will be eating much, but want it to be healthful. After only have three jobs in my lifetime, needless to say, I am not used to new employers or first days on the job.

Congrats on the new job!!! Enviromental Law sounds very exciting! Now that's something, if I were an attorney, that I think I would like to sink my teeth into! har!

Hope this new position is everything you need it to be...and especially NOT all time consuming.
Good for you on putting your family first; alot of professional women do NOT and I think some day they will very much regret it. I know I do.

Happy first day on the new job!!! You ROCK...therefore, I know you'll do just fine!

Great news! You'll do just fine. If the employer didn't see your potential, you never would have gotten the second interview, let alone the third. Look at this as an adventure, learning a new aspect of the law. And having weekends to yourself! Fantastic!
