Thanks Alcmene. I know what you mean..... I transformed my bedroom into the girly room you see after my husband left........ He never would have permitted all the flowers and birds I stenciled in, so I did it within a week after he left

Do you have a journal? Was trying to find it so I could post in it.

    Hi to all you guys

Tuesday morning has come far too early and I am just not ready to face the day, but I must. No cheats over the weekend so that was good, but easy not to cheat when you are the chef!

Anyway, just a short 12 hours or so and I will return back home so off I go!

    Texan - i'm a lurking!

your bedroom set is beautiful - i love antiques. my family used to live in Illinois - we picked up some beautiful items down by Kankakee, IL. this was back in the late 70's when prices were more reasonable - we did keep what we bought - even though we moved back to california.

alcemene - i just read where London is the 3rd most expensive to live/visit...OUCH. someday i will make it to the UK - my dad is from Totnes, my gfather from Blackawton, one aunt lives in Bristol and another aunt in cambridge!

Drat... just not good a love I guess, but being alone isn't so bad either.

Donna would be sooooo geleous. She has dacsands, but I know how she enjoys basset hounds. I find them very relaxing, at least the older hounds.

    Awww! soo cute!

Agree with Kimmy. Being alone is ok, in fact I kind of enjoy my own company. But feeling loenly is another deal .... especially when you live with someone!

Gregg!!! My LONG LOST cute mailman! So nice of you to visit

Yeah.... I was thinking tonight ....... being alone is far better than being ALONE and thinking it was all about YOU!

Sixteen year old son is giving me a headache tonight....... broke up with his GF, so he feels he must "rebel" against the establishment, being ME. Well, actually, he didn't break up with his GF, she did with him on Friday..... what a bummer, right before the holiday weekend. So, he is a good kid, and giving him some space....... but not too much. Actually, both he and his GF belong on a GQ magazine cover, so I could see the problems developing..... especially, at that age.

Anyway, pork roast in the oven after being the crockpot all day........ simmering with chipolte and some other unknown spices I reached for out of the spice rack, so dinner is taken care of. Even made pasta for the kiddos. For me, green beans (kim...... you reading this) and some cauliflower....... so getting my veggies in.

More later....... if not tonight, surely by tomorrow. Couldn't do without each and every one of you!

Kim, cherry wood is definately an "attorney's office"..... however, loved it far before I became one of those.

Thinking about some serious job changes recently. Miss being a prosecutor.... but know that doesn't exactly pay the bills .... especially at this point. So........ signed up to be a pro bono lawyer with the Jackson County and Clay County courts..... yeah... I know..... had spare time to spend working. However, I did make a stipulation that I would not do criminal law....... far too emotionally and mentally taxing, besides the fear factor I experienced doing that in TX with people being unhappy about the outcome or angry that you are prosecuting.

Sounds like a good compromise. Some fresh challenges to spark your interest. I hope it is a short term contract initially. So I take it the cases would be property based? Or misdemeanor prosectution? I want details!?!
