Hey Rob thanks! I have an Aldi nearby my office, so may try to stop there on the way home one evening and check them out As for Walmart..... will go there IF I get there about 5:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Did I mention that I hate CROWDED stores????? I tend to be very impatient sometimes.......

Breakfast was eggsalad with a few pork rinds. Lunch was romaine salad (about 2 cups) with a hamburger patty with garden vegetable cheese and a slice of bacon. Dinner will be a challenge since I didn't take anything out of the freezer this morning due to my insomina last night. Barely woke up in time to get to the office in a timely manner. Maybe just wing it once I get home and see what the cabinets are hiding from my sight Not really worried about what I will eat..... but do have to make something for the kiddos.

Since we are so far apart Flower we will have to make due with our stationary bikes. I hope you have yours set up where you have a nice view.

I have a stationary bike in the basement that I'm using to dry sweaters on. If I can clear a path can I join too?

Rhonda - Just be aware that the cheaper they are the longer they need to stay in a paper bag to ripen. The walmart ones take 3 or 4 days but the aldi ones take 5 to 6 days. Not a big deal if you plan ahead. I hear you on the crowded stores thing. I usually go to walmart during the early afternoon. It's crowded then too but not nearly as crowded as it gets about 4:00. I can usually find a checkout line (20 items or less) with only 1 or 2 people in front of me.

Hiya Texanflow'r How does your garden grow? Do you have any annuals in there that will need replacing with the season change? The year is marching on eh! I'm keen to see Spring. I used to loathe the wintertime - although a friend of mine reminded me that winter is a time to rest and replenish the spirit and to prepare growth and blossoming when the warmth comes - both for people and the earth - so after that I began to enjoy it! Its Friday here - hope you enjoy the weekend coming up!

smarta$$? i kinda LIKE that in a person *L*.. but it WASNT a typo.. smarty pants *L*.. i actually DO only wear one contact.. in lieu of bifocals i wear one to see close up.. other eye sees far away.... and my WONDERFUL brain sees BOTH EYES just perfect for close up AND far away...
pretty cool eh? and i save big moola by buying only ONE box of contacts instead of two (they presribed one for the other eye.. but the strength was so weak that i REALLY didnt need it... so i just pop one in one eye and i am good to go... doc says that is juuuuuuuuuuust fine...

i guess i coulda just stopped at ITS NOT A TYPO ... but thats just not me then IS IT ?? *LOL*

thanks for the recipe.. let me know how it is when ya try it!

SciFi Friday was pretty good; I had never seen Battlestar Galatica, so it was a little hard to follow, and a little violent. I enjoyed it though, and will try to get into it more as the summer continues.

Your recipe looks good, but I don't know about the brussel sprouts. Any suggestions for another vegetable that might work in the crock pot? :fork:

Hi Tina, and thanks for stopping by again Brussel sprouts are one of those things you either like or dislike. Don't know what else would work....... maybe Chef Rob can figure something out
