Rhonda - I used to despise brussels sprouts but in my dotage (look it up) I find i like them. same with asparagus and a few other veggies. That recipe looks good but I might put an onion or some mushrooms in place of the sprouts.

Hello Flower and gang. Crawled out of my hovel long enough to say hi. Brussle sprouts just don't look appitizing to me. Kind of like they are from another planet or something. I can never remember their flavor after having em. I'm sprout inhibited.:o

Hello Kim, Rob and Stephen Things have been incredibly busy the last several days with my homelife and office, but still been thinking of you guys and staying with the plan. Lost five pounds in the last couple of weeks and keeping my promise to myself of using my stationary bike each day Will try to catch up with you all soon. Hopefully tonight after the work day is finished. I think, too, I have been feeling a little down.... so that hasn't helped matters much. Usually happens when I find myself a bit overwhelmed in life. Picking myself up by my bootstraps this morning and heading out to the office. Hope everyone has a great day

Rob, thanks for the funny faces Yes, I am pretty much at goal... or at least the original one I set. I weigh right at 140 now and at 5'9, probably shouldn't go much lower as I am not a spring chicken any more I usually go several weeks (okay, maybe two) without any weight loss these days. I have added a few more carbs into my diet (all veggies tho and some cottage cheese) but probably will not go any lower than 135 for sure. In my 20's I always stayed around 120 to 125, but then again, I was modeling and that was a prerequisite to getting a job, and I sure didn't stay that weight the healthy way.

Woke up at 4:00 a.m. with leg cramps again :( Could be due to the fact I have neglected my vitamins for the past few days..... Will have to be more deligent in that area for sure, especially since I am not eating much fruit any longer and of course, very little dairy products.

Made homemade chicken salad with some jalepenos in it...... dang, should remember to wear rubber gloves when I deseed those things! Hands burning, eyes burning.... oh well..... in the frig chilling, so maybe have some tonight, maybe not. Too hot to even feel like eating at this point. Drinking my green tea and maybe a nap?????? Of course, after I watch that stupid show "The Dog"...... can't believe I even admit to watching it, but it is worth a few laughs...... can't believe it is for real...... kinda like Jerry Springer. Yeah, I used to watch that too, before the reruns came on too late for me!

Come on -- Jerry Springer is a great show, even if you watch it to see how crazy everyone else is :great:

'The Dog'???? No idea what that show is about.....

Flower not enough salt or water can also cause leg cramps. Salt is real tricky with my family. Not enough and horrible charlie horses, too much and the BP hits the roof as well as water retention.

Vitamins are a good habit in moderation. I want em but my body always craves more, head aches ville. Good for everyone else though.

My Donna has to take the prenatal vitamins all month long or when her TOM hits Lord look out! Heck on wheels, of course she is bipolar like myself.

I see you have been very busy too and a bit on the low side. You know you might feel better leveling out your weight. Lord knows you don't need to loose any more. Consistent weight will definatly make you feel a little stronger. And feeling weak at all almost always triggers some depression. Just a thought.

Tina, "the Dog" is a bounty hunter show. Would watch Jerry Springer just to make me feel "more normal" or that my life was not truly out of control!

Stephen, thanks for your advice and concern. I have pretty much cut out most salt, so that could be it. Will try adding a little bit more in my diet and more water as well! I know I do not need to loose too much, if any more weight. People are telling me I am getting too thin, but maybe they are just comparing where I "used" to be some 55 to 60 pounds ago!

Rhonda - I can so relate to the wear gloves with hot stuff thing. yesterday i sprinkled some chipotle chili powder on the beef for my fajitas and forgot to wash my hand after. well I'd be embarrassed to say what burned a little while later.

Use a light salt like Mortons or salt sense. much better for you.
