| Hi Michelle, thanks for stopping by again. Yeah, I demand of myself that I at least attempt to exercise each night after work. Tried getting up extra early in the mornings to do it, but no way..... Between trying to get four kids up and moving for school in addition to myself..... cleaning up the kitchen from children roaming and eating their snacks most of the night, there is just no way. Actually, I find even if I am tired before exercising in the evening, afterwards, when I catch my breath, I am energized with more energy! Strange, but true! Takes me a while to wind-down and get to sleep, but rarely get to bed before 11:00 and wake up by 5:30. Breakfast this morning was two link sausages and coffee. Lunch I will have a salad..... Have Italian Sausages in the crockpot with green, red and yellow peppers with l/c sauce, but doubtful I will eat any tonight. Trying to watch the calories as with just 20 pounds left to go, I know the weight will come off a lot slower if I keep up the high calorie content. Have some lean porkchops and chicken marinating in the frig, so may just throw one of those on the GF tonight... Tomorrow DH promises to fire up the grill. Was going to do it today, but it turned off COLD again :( |

| There's a way to make twice baked fauxtatoes??????? OMG!!!!! Actually I shouldn't be freaking out too much because I haven't even tried the reg. faux tatoes yet (cauliflower is rare around here...can you make it without a food processor????) Rhonda, your food sounds soooo delicious!!!! I was reading some of the messages you posted for Judi in the SB forum and wow, you two have sure been thru some crappy times. | I'm going to have to try those. That sounds sooo good Great job on the evening excercise. I wish I could, but I have to do it in the morning. Once I get home and get dinner/dishes/lunches packed/laundry done and finally sit down, I'm not moving again |

| Thanks for stopping by Renee... will come and visit your journal a little later today No breakfast this morning :( Had to race out the door to get a client out of jail.... Should have known that would happen.... warned him it would. Lunch was a cup of CarbSense soup (2 grams - 10 calories) and a small lettuce salad with CarbOptions Italian dressing (0 grams - 50 calories). DH is cooking out on the grill tonight, so will save the rest of the calories and carbs for dinner..... Will plan on having lots of veggies tonight since I haven't done so well with those the last few days. Maybe even a cocktail tonight (vodka with a Diet Rite) -- maybe.... we will see how many calories I have ingested or plan to with dinner before I make up my mind. |

| YOU my friend are doing AWESOME! i love the way you are so FOCUSED on what you want to accomplish here... and i have to agree... while they arent THEEEEE most important thing.. counting calories down the stretch is key in this.. its good to keep that in mind even WHILE doing OWL ... sure... during induction i wouldnt give it a thought... but sometimes ya GOTTA believe that the STALLS some of us go through are from watching the carbs... but not paying attention to portion or calorie counts as a whole... its nice for that reminder! thanks! kim |

| Thanks for the encouragement all..... Will try to stop by your journals sometime today. Doesn't feel like I am getting anything accomplished today at the office.... like I am spinning my wheels, but will try to catch up with all of you this evening NO breakfast again..... dang, I have to STOP that! Guess I miss my l/c yogarts Lunch today is a small salad with l/c Italian dressing (0 carbs, 50 calories) and one of those l/c atkins pasta entrees, but only ate 1/2 of it. So total carbs on that is 5 with 245 calories. Won't be buying any more of those... just wanted to see what they tasted like and would never eat something that carb/calorie ladden in the evenings. I do believe Kim that after induction it is important to keep track of the calories you are taking in, just as it is important for the carb count. One of the ladies in my office is also doing Atkins.... has been for like 8 months, and has only lost like 20 pounds, most of that being the first couple of months. I can see her problem though.... she always has something extremely high in calories for breakfast and lunch... Like the other day she was having something like 4 HUGE hotdogs for lunch with a salad loaded with cheese and dressing....... almost said something, but I figured she could read the book as well as I and you never know how people are going to take to you making a suggestion with their food :( Felt kind of sorry for her though as while in the breakroom making my lunch, one of the ladies commented on how much weight I had lost in such a short time and when asked, I told her 40 pounds.... and then she said "Aren't you doing the same diet as Trudi?" I told her that I wasn't sure if we were because I had modified mine slightly and was mostly getting all of my carbs from veggies.... and not using any of the higher calorie or fat content foods very often (like mayo).... just as I looked up, could see that Trudi was slathering mayo and what appeared to be not even l/c ketsup all over her hot dogs :( Guess I must have turned ten shades of red as I left.... Will have to be careful how I handle things like that in the future.... As for dinner, have a pork roast (fat trimmed off) roasting in the oven for dinner. Bought some l/c b-bque sauce, but not sure I will use it.... says 3 carbs and 15 calories, so calories aren't so bad..... we will see... more veggies for dinner tonight as my side salad today was very small (1 cup) |

| i think it was NOT a reason to turn red... you ARE right in saying you werent doing the same diet as she was... in fact,,,, you might just have given her a hint... and dont be so sure she read the book.... heck... some that even BUY the book dont read but one chapter of it! *L* i know you need fat.. but you dont need OVERKILL on ANYTHING... and if you read the book... the PORTIONS he speaks of ARE ANYTHING BUT the gigantic portions MANY of us have... while STILL losing weight...(myself included) each person has to find their own balance in THIS or anything ELSE in their lives... and sometimes...fooling yourself about what works and what DOESNT .. and WHY they dont work... is hard to admit.. |

| Thanks Kim.... you made me feel better For dinner tonight was corned beef and cabbage.... More cabbage than corned beef, but it was good. Yeah, I know it isn't St. Pat's but it was on sale and basically, I am the only one in the family who will eat the stuff |

| Today's breakfast consisted of two boiled egg and 1 ounce of pepper jack cheese. Had to get rid of the rest of the l/c pasta and had a small salad for lunch. Dinner is anyone's guess....... Making the children eat sloppy joes (yeah they are complaining and ff). For me, probably just another salad with some grilled chicken from the charcoling the other night... Right now, kinda into my vodka and diet rite ....... bad bad girl..... but since DH has decided he MUST move back to TX and my law office pays the bills..... well.... guess I will remain here with my kiddos. Yeah, feeling a little sorry for myself, but won't blow a good thing and resort to overdoing it because I am DEPRESSED :( |
