| I saw that on the news today! I wondered if that was near you. How far? The little news clip I saw showed a very mountainous area that looked like a postcard, I knew it couldn't be too far. Yikes triple murders in IDAHO? The EECP thing sounds like it could be just the thing for Moon. I wonder if that's anyhting like the old 'balloon pump' I used to see in my old hospital days. I have sisiter who has had 2 (that I can remember) bypasses. And her doc says absolutely no more. She doesn't take good care of herself either but that's a whole nother story. This procedure is in her future I'm pretty sure. Too bad the scheduling is a problem tho, you could always park the 'bago' at a nice camping area for a few weeks. Just be sure to bring your laptop.

mailman... well... it would have to be for six or SEVEN weeks... but we would do it if it would help him.. or go to arizona and hang with relatives for that period of time.. his appt with new heart doc is tomorrow... we will know more then.. the killings were about 35 --40 miles from here.. SCARY eh? especially when they havent said who they think the killer is... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7884242/ as far as your sister... why wouldnt they do more? i know they wont do moons because of the way the bi passes scarred up and closed immediately.. and the stents are iffy too.. (they may do a treadmill tomorrow... and *yikes*.. maybe another cath. ) anyway... i know you really have to try to take care of yourself with those kind of problems.. and if she wont do it..no amount of doctoring will help..:-( i can take laptop.. but if i dont have a router for wireless it wont do any good..*L* M. uh. i wear shorts INDOORS all winter long.. but for walking.. mannnnnn it gets SO cold in the shaded areas .. which in a forest is EVERYWHERE *L*... and as far as supporting your journal? awwwwwwwwwww thats just something MOST of us here do...;-)

| All the best tomorrow to you and the Mooner. Most of that medical type stuff is just annoying, but when your dealing with this kind of serious stuff, it can be down right scary. What time is the appointment? I'll be sending you 2 some positive energy. As far as my sis, the 2 previous bypasses were traumatic and we actually almost lost her on the last one. Since then she has gained gobs of weight and has aquired type 2 diabetes. You are right about doctoring having it's limits. I've recommended LC eating but her doctor prohibits it. Unfortunately she's on the fast track to you know where. *sigh*

I heard about the Amber Alert this afternoon on NPR. Scary, heartbreaking stuff. I'm just praying those babies will be found soon...and SAFE AND ALIVE. I hate this kind of news, it just hits me to the core. I'm sending positive energy your way that this new treatment with your husband is doable for you and WORKS!

mailman... thanks! we can use all the good thoughts we get! ... sorry your sister is in that condition... makes it rough on you too i am sure...:-( his appt is about 9:30 i think... shimmy.. thanks lady! appreciate the good thoughts and kind words.. i know we are just hoping for ANYTHING that can stop the PAIN he has in his chest constantly...*sigh*... i am hoping that the new doc comes up with SOMETHING we can do... about the CDA killings... WHOA... how scary that is eh? dang... and uh... knowing that YOU know where this is i am sure... it creeps the HE*L outta me... that something that awful and having two kids MISSING is just wrong and ALL levels...:-( its somewhere we are near every week at least once or twice.. i SURE am praying for the safe return of these kiddos... as you... but if the dead are INDEED thier mother and older brother... welllllllll not much in THEIR lives will EVER be the same... (after i had posted yesterday that i had told daughter1 to be aware of her surroundings and strangers and all... i ended up taking the baby over to her house after she got off work (about two a.m. this morning) because she wasnt going to pick them up till today... and the baby has this awful CRAP they keep telling us is crup...but i believe is asthma.. at ANY rate... her phone wasnt working and i drove over with sebastian at 2 am and her door was locked *L* and she wouldnt answer the door! *L* good girl!!! BUT... with a sick baby (she had the nebulizer at her home) i just snatched him up and took him .. figuring either she would give him a treatment or we would take him to the E.R. or BOTH... *L* i scared the BEJEEZUS outta her..*L*... she had no CLUE who was wiggling her door knob and trying to get in (nobody ever locks their doors around here) tooooooooooo funny... except that i was COLD... TIRED and worried bout the baby... annnnnnnnnnnnnnnywho.. got the treatment... got what we needed from E.R. and took em all HOME to MY house again..*L* (round trip from her house to MINE about a half hour or so.. got home about 3 am and he FINALLY could stop coughing and BARKING like a seal (thats what this crap does to him) its a NASTY sounding cough wheeze thang.. (yes! that IS the technical term for it) so.. here he is... buzzin from the meds (makes him hyper) and the coughing barking still going strong.... and .. YES .. you guessed it... i am watching them (him and his bro) TONITE again too... while she works till 2 am or so.. well... i have NO clue where i was going with all this rambling (which i would dearly LOVE to blame on lack of sleep.. but there is not a SOUL here that would buy that crap *L*) ...but i have a BASKETBALL game on... so i will catch ya all later...or later tomorrow..or just plain LATER period..*L*

Kim I meant perscribe a different medical path, this one you have talked about would make me think they would have to monitor for blood clots. Beats me though. bye the way I once met a brain surgeon that introduced himself as as a mechanic of sorts. Last edited by stephen_tacoma_wa; 05-18-2005 at 06:01 AM.

That is a sad story about that family. Made me think back to a certain lady that approached a strange vehicle when summoned on a deserted road.

Hey Kim-O-Sabe! a 10 to 12 hour commute 5x a week isn't really an option. The bago sounds ideal but trip to Alaska would need to be postponed, eh? Maybe you could do it when you get back and meanwhile check with your health insurance and the hospital and make the appointments for whenever it's convenient. That's horrible about those kids! Same thing happene about an hoyur from me maybe 3 years ago. Parents were found murdered and the daughter (8 or 9 y/o) missing. They found her body almost a year later. still haven't convicted anyone for it. But I have a feeling he'd be shot "resisting arrest" if they ever knew who did it.

I hate it when there is a crime involving kids. I had to quit reading the paper in my twenties, as I would cry over the stories, dh finally said, QUIT READING ABOUT THEM THEN! I was 30 before I could read a newpaper with any certainty that I would not have a facial leak... :0 Tho I still get a sick feeling.... as most do I guess...sad... sure hope the doc gives you a "do-able" treatment for moon! {{{hugs}}}

Cynthia I am with you on reading the news. I don't watch television and am very careful how much I read via NYT online. I want to be an informed person but not to the point of wrecking my life. I could never be in law enforcement as I would never have the objectivity required when dealing with such brutal, selfish, violence. Good thing there are some very healthy people arround to deal with these creeps. Last edited by stephen_tacoma_wa; 05-18-2005 at 05:01 PM.
