hey gang... sorry i have been MIA.. but i went to doc appt with moon on wednesday...spent the nite and went to the midnite starwars (sssssssssssshhhhhhh no one knows that ) and then went the NEXT day with the girls (they drove up from home ) to the STARWARS movie TWICE on thursday.... home thursday nite... up early today to get nails done... then right away had to take daughter1 to see CUSTODY lawyer ... went to have a meal and then drove home (didnt come back the way of where the MURDERS were.... didnt want that thought in my head all day..obviously didnt work ;-( did it..?) anywho... moon will be home in a few minutes... so quick thoughts here first:

THANKS RHONDA!!! SO SWEET of you to send the care package with note.. THANK YOU!! made my day..(and after seeing a lawyer ... gave me back that .. AAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW LAWYERS are people too..*L* feeling... *L*)

moons new doc says he wants to try MORE meds before he would prescribe him the treatments... he thinks MEDS work better... so.. we have NEW stronger meds for his blood pressure ect... and will see us in 6 weeks..or if we DO go to alaska.. when we get back..

stents seem to be helping SOME... but the ONGOING CONSTANT pain is from one of the stents itself... and they cant take it out or DO over.. so thats something he is stuck with for life ...:-(

cynthia.... yeah.. i hear ya... the news sure can make you cry alot... but i am hopelessly addicted to FOX NEWS and i watch it every nite..
GRETAs on the record is PARTICULARLY disturbing usually...:-(

no sign of those missing kiddos yet... so scary... so horribly sad... (if i didnt mention it before .. daughter1 knows the sister of the man who was murdered... she was going to a friends funeral the day she got the news that her brother had been murdered...MAN.. sometimes life can be BRUtal...:-(

gotta broil some salmon (probably put a bit of some of my NEW seasonings RHONDA sent...*big silly a$$ smug smile*.... i will give the raving review later..*L*

stephen.... anyone given to depression or being bi polar probably doesnt NEED to be reading the crap i do ..or watching the news i do... ... it aint good for us brotha!

Kim, glad you made it home safely with Moon in tow. Sure hope they figure out something that will help him soon.

Unfortunately....... I must say....... all lawyers are NOT people :( Guess, that is why I will never be rich and famous. I have my own set of morals..... was a prosecutor for 10 years and now doing defense work for insurance companies..... like if you are in an automobile accident, I will defend YOU through your insurance company..... not lots of money to be made there, but I sleep much easier at night. Domestic lawyers make a ton of money, but I could never do that..... how do you tear a family apart and make $200 an hour and wake up in the morning and LIKE yourself?? Sometimes I have been hesitant to even claim the profession, but I know what I do, at least I earn an honest buck and then some.

Anyway, going to watch some mindless dvd and perhaps fall asleep on the sofa....... after all, it is Friday night and I can do whatever I wish ........ well, within reason

(daughter1's lawyer is charging 210 an hour for the record.. 1500 retainer.... *sigh*... and she is only workin part time..8-(

daugthers sons daddys mother told moon today that she is worried about dider (DIE- DER.. not his real name.. but what his baby bro calls him) because SHE is not able to see him to help him with his math on thursdays (sheeeeeeeeesh.. he went up TILL last week) ANNNNNNNNNYWHO.. moon told her that it was HER sons fault for scaring our daughter by saying he was going to take the boy... *sigh*... i just want it to stop..

anywho... ate good today.. even WITH going to the chinese/american buffet while in town...
got tons of water in ... ACK! no green tea all day.. whats with THAT??

watched the suns beat the mavs out of the series! how cool was THAT!! (sorry dirk.. you know i love ya bud..*L*)

sat around in the hot tub with moon under a beautiful starry filled sky.. pretty moon and VENUS shining brightly...*sigh*... was quite wonderful actually... especially since the girls and the boys all went home for a change *L*.. peace... peace and quiet... (except for the MARINERS game going on the radio...*L*)

guess we are going to go ahead and go to alaska... prolly the first week of june..

that doesnt give me much time to get things together... i sure am going to miss being HOME tho...

and i am going to miss being HERE regularly... not sure if i will get to post at all ... actually....

well...i am pretty tired...long last few days.. and SHORT SHORT SHORT on sleep time with staying up all hours while in town ...
didnt have my memory foam topper at the motel... but after staying up till almost 4 am .. i guess it didnt make much difference when i DID get to sleep... then had to get up early to get in line for starwars again ..bout seven am... *sigh*.. god i am old..*L*

I thought about Tims Wasabi chips yesterday at Safeway thinking of you Kim I was tempted, then I remembered why I was at the store in the first place to stock up on LOW carb snacking material. I didn't really like the wasabi powder I bought at Trader Joes on anything. But with my luck I would love the chips and have something as dangerous as chocolate to contend with. Don't send them to me there is a cross and a string of garlic nailed to my door! For I am a weak in flesh and easily tempted.

Kim (aka hottie) - Thought you must be out of town. Boy you really like that Star wars franchise. I'm not a fan but I can stand to sit through any of the movies when friends have dragged me to them. If alaska will interfere with your posting here we all forbid you to go! period no back talk! lol
Side note - my grandfather was diagnosed with angina in his 50s and lived to 87. My brother was never diagnosed with any heart problem and lived to 56. So it's all a crapshoot. Live every day to the fullest.

i know.. i know... alaska sure would put a kink in my armor eh? of course i can do EMAIL *hint hint* on my cell phone..*L*

as for the angina? the PAIN of angina isnt what bothers me.. what bothers me is that part of the bottom of his heart is dead... and that it cant be fixed... also... doc said i was RIGHT.. slow steady exercise was fine.. but heavy lifting (such as he is want to do) is a HUGE risk for sudden death... hmmmmmmmmmm finally got moons ATTENTION on THAT one the doc did...

yeppers .. it TIS a crapshoot tho... and while i dont actually live each DAY to the fullest (cept during basketball season *L*) EVERY day.. i sure try to do it MOST of the time..

and i guess from my newest blog pics.. ya can tell our family loves starwars.. although we are not the TREKKIE kind of scary .. and i have no CLUE what the star wars term for that would be .. STARWARSIES??? NAWWWWW that CANT be right..*L*

shim... well thank you... i appreciate that.. i HOPE son has some router or something so i can take my laptop notebook.. but ...not sure on that deal..
just talked to him.. we leave the 7th of june..(horrors! thats less than three weeks from now! ) and get back the second of august (whaaaaaaaaaat?? he is shippin my ars home on my BIRTHDAY?? whats up with THAT ?? *L*)
thats technically only TWO months.. not sure he realized that ..when making the reservations.. cause he had SAID three months..heh heh.. i sure aint gonna say NUTHIN..*L*

i have heard that about george lucas myself! it is some kinda thrilling news ...i nearly cried at the end of the movie this time... and i DID cry at a couple OTHER parts...

thanks for the moral support... hopefully custody will go off without a hitch (seeing as they never DID have a hitch..*L* it would be poetic justice *L*)

hoping too that moon gets SOME relief from new meds... and when we return maybe the TREATMENT thingy (yes...that IS the technical term for it..) ..hmmmmm actually i DID tell son we had to be back at the docs in six weeks or so..*L*... maybe THATS why he set up reservations that way..

LOL Kim, my oldest sister is having her 20th this summer...she is FREAKING OUT about that...like "How can it be TWENTY YEARS since highschool!!" I keep laughing at her LOL I'm only two years younger then her so I should probably NOT be laughing so hard !!

You should go to yours....you look so spectacular...you would blow all your old highschool chums away!
