I was working night and day durring the high school years, I wouldn't recognize more than two people if I went. Anyhow the idea of going back to theat town gives me the hibbie gebbies. Thats funny how Rob straightened you out on that. I once told a young black man about what it was like when I attended an all black school in Texas, telling him it was a decade ago, then after I left the store I realized it was two decades previous and before he was even born. That was a mind blower.

| *L*.... yeah... thanks! that makes me feel a bit better to know that i am NOT the only one who has a scary mind melt from time to time *L*..(oh HASH UP! whaddaya MEAN its ALL the time?? *L*) its not that i didnt have acQUAINTances that i wouldnt mind seeing.. its just that i had a kinda scary family life... and if ya got too close to people they would want to know about you as WELL.. and well... heck..i just couldnt deal with toooooo many people knowing that my dad was the mean drunk he was sometimes.. okay.. alot of times.. i DID have NEIGHBOR friends during those years... and they kinda knew what my homelife was all about... somewhat anyway... sure didnt need to have a bunch of FRIENDS to have to explain stuff to.. had a BEST friend in grade school who told me she couldnt hang out with me at school anymore cause she was joining some CLICK.. welllllllllll that about broke THIS little girls heart... but i told her it was allllllllllll fine and all...*sigh*... but hey... if your best FRIEND could do that crap to ya... well... heck stephen... i sure didnt need to leave myself open to that from some regular ol joe.. | Yah I hear ya. Selfishness is the default over selflessness. So people often step on one another needlessly. But we can have compassion for them as their experiences are more shallow and less lived from my perspective. But even more importantly is to have compassion for ourselves. Nurturing begins at home within us, then a more stable structure is made that can help others, even if those others lack any concept of real friendship or selflessness. |

story wierd.. weak.. bizzare.. directing? not sure... it APPEARED that the entire cast and crew was SMOKING the stuff that murray was in the movie.. it was a comedy... but it reminded me of ZANADU..*L* not that it was anything LIKE zanadu.. but that it was as AWFUL for time spent as zanadu..*L*... of course i laughed many times.. but i would have been ROYALLY pissed if i had spent the bucks and time to see it in a theater... as it was.. spending 15 bucks or so at costco was bad enough... and like i said.. i LOVE owen wilson and bill murray.. i ASKED for the movie... and still .. i spent 15 minutes shaking my head afterwards .. thinkin... HUH??

Film making is a very delicate creation process. So many things can go wrong. There were probably large adjustments to the script at the last minute. Contracts can lock artist into some most unseamly endevours. The only DVDs I own are instructional. I am very happy with Netflix's service. Thanks for the warning. The title made me untrusting in of it's self.

http://www.cherikoff.net/cherikoff There you go Kim - I've posted a link to the bush tucker spices in your journal. They're a bit pricey - but its mostly hand-harvested and of course, its usually found in the bush. We've copied from the indigenous people here - they used these foods as their natural diet (none of them were fat either!)
