stephen... yeppers.. it IS gorgeous there.. and i hope to ferry over to juneau during the stay for the day.. MENDENHALL glacier is AWESOME!rhonda... we WERE going to barge the bago over.. decided not to...was gonna cost son couple grand to get it there AND back..its okay.. they have 5 bedrooms.. we dont NEED to have the bago.. but i would have loved to have the privacy it would have provided.. plus to be able to take it where we wanted and have all the things we needed..
yeppers.. just me and moon... and yes.. i will miss the kiddos MADLY but its hard to use THAT as an excuse when i see the ALASKA grandkiddos only once or twice a year as it is...
go ahead and sing! *L*

i will sing SOMEWHERE OUT THERE... beneath that pale moonlight.. someones thinking of you... *L*...fine! i'll stop now..*L*

Yeah, I know you need to go and visit the other grand kiddos.... plus, it will be a nice break for you and Moon to just get away, even if you do have to stay in someone else's home. One of the other attorneys in my firm took an Alaskian cruise last year.... he said it was absolutely beautiful! After seeing those pictures, I can just imagine. I tend to think of Alaska as being frozen and dark all year round..... guess that isn't true, just half of it

actually... sister, neice and her son all live in anchorage.. been there.. been to juneau... valdez.. sitka.. ALLLLLLLLLLLL very beautiful... i went to anchorage in the summer... kids were out playing at 2 am.. soooooooooooo light there ..
where my son is it is similar to seattle in weather.. TONS of rain.. (another reason moon doesnt want to live there) .. it DOES snow some in the winter there.. but not bad.. heck.. not as bad as we get HERE in the idaho panhandle...

the scenery is spectacular..and i make NO secret that i would LOVE to live by an ocean.. any ocean.. i LOVE the way it changes all the time... i LOVE to sit on the deck there and look out on the SOUND.. its soooooooooooo pretty...even when its cloudy.. it has so MANY shades of grey ...

OH MY GOSH, KIM!! Why didn't you tell me your journal was PARTY CENTRAL???!!!
I tried to read the other two (didn't get that far...there is A LOT of info!)
You are so upbeat and fun and encouraging!
And where exactly in Alaska is this? I went to Kodiak in 1999 or 2000, and I LOVED it, how beautiful!!!!

rhonda... it IS beautiful huh? the COLOR is STUNNING in person... i do have to admit.. the one glacier i actually tried (being the opperative word ) WALKing on... i had a really tough time of it....sister and i took turns trying to fall into the crevases *L*..
not sure son will by ticket.. but ya never know... someday when all your kiddos are grown you and i will have to jet up there and have a great time ...;-)

beach... i know... i love looking at beautiful things... and those pictures surely are! (as well as your cool one on the BEACH i might add...;-)

*whew*.. FINALLY got the baby to sleep.. cant WAIT till he gets to his third birthday next month... these TERRIBLE TWOS are rough! *L*...

stupid suns blew aNOTHER game..GOD i have GOT to quit picking rotten teams ...although steve nash totally ROCKS!
my ACTUAL sucky team the BLAZERS got the third pick in the draft drawing... cant wait to see who THEY get later on during the actual draft..

i was REALLY tempted to eat crap when the suns game went to he*l in a hand basket... but i DIDNT...

so... ended up doing all on plan today... day two of the challenge...heck.. its a CHALLENGE just to DO one of these challenges ..

annnnnnnnnnnywho... had bacon... an egg.. some green beans... some cabbage... some salmon...some pepperjack .... couple few strawberries..(waaaaaaaaaay yummy!) all TOTALLY on plan stuff..*big grin*... oh yeah.. i ROCK!

vitamins/supplements CHECK.. acv CHECK... water CHECK ....sea salt CHECK...green tea.. CHECK...

way too much devil coffee?? CHECK *L*...

i feel alot better... lighter... spring in the ol' step.... good mood...

day three tomorrow.. ..oh yeah... i can do this.. i WILL do this...:-)

I just posted in my journal how I did today *L*

Actually this evening was alot nicer then my day. My son and his girlfriend came over to watch American Idol with me and its always nice when he comes home. They stayed awhile after the show and visited and it was just....nice. I love it when things are just nice

I've been having alot of high calorie days and I'm gonna try and bring the calorie count down a bit the rest of the week. I know I'm not supposed to worry about calories but in the back of my head I am always counting them...I guess old habits die hard.

LOVE all the pictures in your blog lately! I'm so addicted to pictures *L*
