| well, i guess it is time i start a journal and try to keep track of my low carb success :eyes: ! i am ending day 2 now and the cravings are here along with some minor stomach discomfort. i feel pretty good about how this is going, but it does take some time. today while making chicken fried rice for the kids and DH, i tasted it i'm still working towards my water goal and i am anxious for the day i reach it! my life is really stressful right now with family issues, but i felt like i need to reclaim my health and that is why i am here. no time like the present i guess you could say! i want to be here for my children when they are older and i want to enjoy life again. i look forward to getting to know all the great people here on the board too.

| Welcome Kelly! I have a problem with wanting to finish the stuff on the kids plates. LOL Hope to see you posting often with your successes and feel free to post even if something doesn't feel so successful. We have all been in the same boat and the folks here are great at LC problem solving and especially ENCOURAGEMENT!

| Great to see you start a journal Kelly, it will help you along the way. We are here for you whenever you need us I have to catch myself to not lick the spoon when heating up things like mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes. Not htat the carb count is so high but I don't want to trigger a craving and eat the whole bowl. You'll get better about those things, they are just such hard habits to break.
