You aren't alone emotionally, Michelle. I know that we're not as good as having someone right there in real life who can support you, but we ARE here. You don't have to deal with this all alone. I am so sorry that you, the baby, and the dog are ALL sick. I hope the physical and emotional load gets lighter for you soon.

Hang in there hon Take it one day at a time. First get yourself and baby Elana(and the pooch) well and feeling good, then you can deal with things better.

I hope you will be kind to yourself and don't shoulder all the guilt because things have failed.

Thanks ladies...I know the support is here. Right now I find myself missing talking to someone with immediate responses...or just getting a hug from time to time for support. In those respects, it's a lonely road. I know I have Elana and I treasure every minute with her, but an adult conversation at times would be nice. I'm also not one to like to "sit" on emotions or issues...I've always been one to try to work through them and find a resolution...life is too short to waste time, and that's exactly how I feel right now...wasting time.

Michelle, believed me..... I been EXACTLY in your shoes with DEXH decided to take off for Texas and leave me and the children.... I felt sorry for myself, but mostly for the children... now, however, is the time you must be the strongest in all of your life. In my opinion, he has shown that he can and will take Elana given the opportunity and you having a nervous breakdown would be the "perfect" opportunity for him to gain custody. Sometimes it is difficult to realize just what is MOST important in life... If you look at the sweet little cherub you are so fortunate to have, you will come to realize that, in reality is ALL that matters. Let Knowles find his own way in life.... you move on with Elana and PJ without him. You can do it! Just my opinion as someone who has dealt with the very same issues and survived. You can and will too.

BTW, you look simply beautiful! Take care of yourself and the kiddos and all else will fall into place.

PJ and I are doing our best to deal with the situation this weekend. He's really missing Knowles but is talking more about it.

I'm taking him and Elana down to the beach for the sunset and hopefully get some great candid shots of them on the digital that I can play with in my paint program and order some 8x10's on Shutterfly for XMas gifts.

Not doing so well staying on plan today, but PJ and I are enjoying our time....we just made brownies

Michelle, don't stress yourself if you aren't staying perfectly on plan at this time in your life. You have enough things to deal with... I make cookies and brownies with my children frequently. It's those bonding moments with you that they will remember a lifetime. Each day that passes for all of you will make all the more easier to deal with the changes that were forced upon each of you. Hang in there.... Being a good mother is the most important job you can do in your lifetime for both you and your children.

I'm posting this for future reference when I get down on myself. This pic is me and my "first love" Vince from college...he was in town a few nights before Elana came home and we went to dinner. Hadn't seen each other in 9 years.

The important significance to this pic...I actually like what I see in myself!!
