Star Date -317393.64082318614
I am waiting for my new job to materialize. The Captain and his familiar walked by the office to offer their morning greetings. The entire ship is abuzz with preparation for the Federation Meeting. Everyone is wearing their traditional clothing. There will be no music. Only food and water to appease the masses whose futures are uncertain.

I will man my post until the appropriate hour for my Nutrient Intake Session. It is my duty to remain unnoticed as the ship heads towards Utopia Planitia.

SOooooo, I call one of my co-workers. A fellow attorney who is caught in a similar predicament. We took the Bar, wont have results until mid to late September and this position is ending shortly.

He said he cried after the Bar exam. Now, I'm panicked. I wonder if the test was harder than I thought it was. He says he's certain that he failed. I, well I've just moved from I think I passed to maybe I should be thinking of some sort of a back-up plan. It never occurred to me that I might not pass. Naturally, I want to eat.

I went down for lunch. I got spinach greens, diced eggs, 3 tomato wedges with raspberry vinagrette and bleu cheese dressing. And no, I left the cookies there. Im pretty daggone proud of myself. I wanted to get a cheeseburger and fries...bun and all. Instead, I made the healthier choice. I would feel good about it but Im too worried about the job hunt.

Looks at the phone. Looks at the cell phone. *This* is worst than waiting for *your last hot date* to call back.

I do need to come up with a contingency plan or two.

Ohh, Franny....

As a die-hard trekker you're killing me with the Live Law, but it is clever

Gee Gee:

Try not to get to stressed about the results (good, but not particularly helpful advice from afar).

Author's Note:

I am reading this journal from my bed. I figured I needed to lay down much more than I needed to get on the treadmill.

Bed is better than the Burger King drive thru but not as good as the treadmill.

FrannyGlass and TinaB--

I am trying not to stress out. Usually, I'd be cool as a cucumber as I stuffed my face. This time, I'm actually working through the anxiety instead of eating through it. Well, I'm sleeping/hiding from it. I've sucked down 8 cups of water since I got home. Beachfox said something about increased water and decreased headaches.

The Exam is over. They are grading now. There really isnt anything else I can do except hope for the best. I prepared myself as best I could.

Oh heck, someone stab one of my tender spots with a spork. The way I feel and the waiting around for a job really *sucks*.

Im going back to beddie-bed.

I made it through the night.

I get up at 4am with no intention of getting on the treadmill. I should have, but I just walked to doggie, ironed my clothes for work and went back to sleep.

I am happy I have a job to drive to...otherwise, I'd look really odd just sitting in a parked car.

My boss was in a good mood this morning and he was here early. He had a 12 minute convo with me. This is good. This makes me feel less like an outcast.

Overall, Im having a better day today than I was having yesterday.

I need to go get a few bottles of water....bbl.

Got the water. Four .5L of the Zephrhills.

I am in desperate need of a manicure. I will take care of that tonight. I'm getting my hair styled on Saturday so I can look cute for my upcoming job interviews.

I am so proud of myself. I've been eating on plan and working out for all 7 days of this time of intense stress.

I still want a cheeseburger and fries. I am drinking water in hopes of washing that craving away.

Ever notice that Zephrhills and Dasani both look the same but taste waaaaaay different. I *hate* drinking one type and then the other type. One of them taste like toxic waste smells but I can never be sure which is the nasty tasting one because it only tastes nasty back to back. It made sense when I was thinking it.

There goes my endorsement deal.

Someone here on the boards told me this, but Dansani tastes different because they add salt to it. If you look at the label, sodium is listed as one of the ingredients

Hands two celery sticks to TinaB. Thank you. I am not alone. I really did think it was my imagination. I have a stack of them in the trunk of my car. Now that you have pointed out the sodium content, I will not buy them again.

er, why are they putting salt in the water? is it to make me want more water?
