GeeGee, what could have been a major derailment you turned around into something quite positive. You've kept your focus, and didn't let this little hiccup (or burp, after that sandwich!) get the best of you. Great going, lady!

Here's to a much better day today.

What a great personal discovery. You are doing fantastic with not craving all that junk like before. Then you reflected and got right back on track. You sound very healthy and committed to taking care of yourself. I just read today that stressed spelled backwards is desserts! Yikes! I'm glad that you are having a better day. Your journal entry is very inspiring.

QueenMama & Babybluejay1: Thanks for visiting the Living Room!

When I joined this thread, I really didnt expect to lose the weight...because I had failed so many times before.

Once I lost the weight,I spent a lot of time worrying about my ability to keep it off.

    BUT--

I kept coming back here, reading other journals, jotting down relevant notes...and now I'm feeling more confident about my ability to continue this healthier lifestyle.

Toning up is a different story...recommendations would be appreciated.

    AND--

In the immortal words from the Bartles and Jaymes commercial: "...and thank you for your support."

Toning up....when you find the non surgical procedure 100% cure I'll be delighted if you share it with me. I noticed yesterday that my skin is looking better but it sure has been a slow process. I'm hoping that all the hard work I do in weight training for the last 2 years is also helping. My worst is my bat wings - lol. That was the name of a thread that Nita, I believe it was, started once.

Actually, it was Barb Keith who started the batwing thread, and I haven't been doing the exercises and still have huge batwings. So I'll be of no help to anyone in the toning-up category.

It's such a great accomplishment to get to your weight goal, and then stay there. I'm glad that this group has been of so much help to you, GeeGee.

    Monday!

So, I met all my tax deadlines. I got all the agreements out. I helped my friend move. I had a productive weekend and I yawn as I try to figure out how to keep this trend going. Getting stuff done requires organization. I finally devised a way to organize my email so I will start there. I hope everyone else has a great week!

Rob, QueenMama and Babybluejay1: Thanks for visiting the Living Room!

I was finally able to get my desktop and email organized. I am going to work on the insides of my desk tomorrow. Trying to get everything alphabetized, all the invoices in order by date or something useful like that.

I do feel more productive. Its SO funny when I think back to when I tolerated clutter in all areas of my life. Now, it's like I cant stand to see disorder.

    Quite an interesting development.

Stopping in to say hello, GeeGee! (You're living room seems considerably more organized than mine-and mine doesn't have any completed taxes. Ha!)

    Have a good week...

Isn't it amazing how much lighter we feel when we get organized and junk out of the house?

Goddess, Babybluejay and Rob! Thanks for visiting the Living Room.

I just stopped by to check in. I am stressing out, so to speak, worried about a Board Mtg this weekend and a biz trip early next week. The good news? I've been tapping and drinking water...so I haven't been putting misc food into my system. The water tastes really good. I think my boss is a little appalled that I have my own Sam's Club purified water as opposed to drinking the Zephyrhills she has sitting in the water cooler. I don't know..it tastes too salty for me...its like drinking from the sea.

Let's see...I discovered In Treatment...the HBO show...has free podcasts over at Itunes. This was a good thing for me. The Tudors and the Wire didn't have actual episodes tho...so that sucked.

I took my car to the mechanic and my car is doing just fine.

    Overall...life's good.

Hey, if you're car is well, then life has got to be good. Nothing worse than a sick vehicle!

Keep it up with the water, drink the kind you like, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
