Sorry to hear about your knee, Tina. Bad knees really are a bummer. I spent 2 hours at DMV today to get the new toy registered and order my personal plates. We only go to 7 digits, so I couldn't do dad2bike. Some thing close tho. Ordered in DADZSOL for dad's del Sol. I never did go for hot chicken wings tonight. Just got quickly lazy after coming home and folding the laundry. Settled for A couple of Hot Links with some Raw cabbage. (oh and 1 beer) I'm down to 5 left in the stores.
Tomorow I'm going to start back doing my morning cardio with the bike and rowing. No eliptical. My knee feels really good after just a few minutes on the bike.

Kim, don't worry about the driving. That's why I have these toys. FUNNNNNN.
I posted a couple of pics in my gallery.
Thanks to all for stopping by.
    Tom.

Awesome license plate! I'm taking off work on Wednesday to watch the Astro's play the first game at Buffalo Wild Wings...woohooo! Think I'm going to go for hot wings (as opposed to Blazing!).

I'm hitting the gym tomorrow night...after work. I haven't hit the gym since last week...feeling awfully lazy tonight! Slow roasted a brisket all day and chopped it up with some Carb Options BBQ. Delicious!

Well, until today things were pretty quiet. Been baching it. Just found out that DW has been back in town for 2 days. She apparently got enough of a dose of our son to cause her to run away from that situation as well. (Are we seeing a pattern here yet?) She was here at the house for a couple of hours earlier today. I was at work. She tells me that she has an appointment with a shrink today. Trying to work thru her issues. (Yeah, right!) In one of my emails, I told her not to return unless she was willing to bring something to the table. I was tired of all the giving and getting nothing but heartache in return. Hmm. Maybe Kim could help me make that into a Country song.
I have no idea if she is just going to pop in and out. I've asked her not to. I've just got the dogs used to being outside during the day and inside at night. They are eating well and getting on with life. I don't want them to get confused. There's enough of that already going around. I was very surprised how easy it was to get used to single life again. At least the home stuff. Laundry that would take her a week to do, I got done in 1 evening. No kidding! And the house is staying clean. I clean up my messes.
Ahhh, and no ashes and cig butts laying around.

I still haven't returned to exercising yet. My knee is not happy with me. I'm being very stubborn. I may have to break down and let them replace it. NOT high on my list of things I want to inflict upon myself. At least I've only gained 2lbs thru all this. Not bad. Heck I could of gained 3 times that on beer alone had I really let go.
    Later...

    Tom

You may just be surprised Mr. Man...Life might just be better with a new knee.

Glad to hear that you're holding firm on the home front. Sometimes, enough is JUST enough and you have to stop compromising. Hmm...did I say that??? Oh yeah...me ...the Queen of Compromise!! As our wise Lil' Kim would say: "I am not a licensed marriage counselor...don't know what the H**L I'm talkin' about...simply enjoy ramblin' on giving totally unsolicited advice."

    Keep the faith...

So far ate according to plan today. Had 2 italian sausages and 2 HB eggs for Bfast. Lunch was 2 cheeseburger patties w/jalapenos and I take the condiments (LTOMayo&M)and make a small salad out of them. Don't know how good I will be tonight. Got a motorcycle club meeting at a mexican restaurant. I see beer and chips in my future. Well, at least the beer.

On the homefront just hovering in limbo. I hope DW gets some direction chosen soon. Cuz I'm gonna push this over the edge on my side if she doesn't. It has been over 1 week now. I'm getting pretty comfortable being alone again. I was surprised how easily I got there. 1 more week and I call an end to this crap. (Maybe I already have made my decision and just waiting to see if she is doing anything at all)
I have to remind myself that no matter how bad it is for me... It is much harder for others out there. Like in the New Orleans area.
And of course, I did open my eyes today!!!! So it was great day!

Just wanted to stop by and say I really like your attitude dad2bike. You aren't sitting around waiting for DW you are going on with your life. It doesn't seem like there is anything you can do at this point. I really hope that you have fun at your motorcycle club meeting. Don't drink to much beer . My belley was growling looking at your delicious food you ate today.

Well, I guess I'm a little more "distracted" than I thought. My club meeting tonight was acctually last Tuesday night. Explains the stupid looks I was getting from the Hostess.

So I stopped on the way home and had the Hot chicken wings I didn't get the other night. No beer though. They didn't have the Beck's lite

Ran into a mutual friend at the bar and was able to talk to somebody in person.

Oh well I'm off to another chatroom.

Sorry you missed your meeting - sounds like you've got a lot on your mind.

What's involved in the motorcycle club?
