Thanks for stopping in Rob & Rhonda.
Again thanks for all the support as well!
I'm not online yet at home. Been very busy with other things. Tonight I'm setting aside to get my computer room/gym back in order. I've decided that the gym is going away. It is no longer needed at home. Through this whole rebuilding process some common threads I'm looking at are: SIMPLIFY and Liz and I deserve to live much better than we have been. "Human beings" don't live in these conditions! Somehow in Liz's past she was beat down to think that she was NOT worthy of anything good. One of my goals is to prove to her that she IS! I am going to dissinfect and clean this entire place. It will be a home and no longer just a house. I did 4 loads of laundry for her and 1 trip to the dump already.

Friday night before packing up, I was able to watch the movie that my counselor suggested, Sybil. WOW, what a powerful movie. I do see some similarities with Liz & I there. NOT to those extremes.

Last night we laid out to TJ what his life was going to be like in the future. Today forward. It was funny in some ways. He is so immature that the thing that hit him the most wasn't the losing free transportation and gas. Or doing his own laundry or any other the other real changes. It was that from the 28th on he was to pay $20 a month for the use of the cell phone. That is in advance just like Embarq does to me. No pay then no cell for the month. You would have thought we beat him with a bat on that point. He also owes me $50 from his 1st paycheck of this job he is starting. It seems over the last week, he got angry with his friend and took it out on my wall. I now have a fist hole to repair. We have agreed to try and teach him personal responsibility and accountability for his actions. Just like the real world. These are things that we missed the mark on in his upbringing. That was a result of our personal issues and both of us overcompensating. We became totally permissive. Many of those small values that you learn as a young child are going to be very rough learning as a 21 year old man. Much tougher to teach too!
I am committed that TJ will attend the December session of the Basic Seminar. I will sign him up at Liz's graduation next week. He will not have total privacy in there. I am volunteering to be on staff for classes. That would surely be my first class. I've made sure that I will NOT start helping until after Liz's class next week. :great:

I hope everybody had a fantastic weekend!!
Now on to a Terrific Week!!

    Tom

Ah! Love is in bloom again! From your words and descriptions, it seems that you are just glowing with happiness. Good for you! And good for Liz! My best to both of you.

It's going to be a rough road with TJ, but he'll come out the better for it. It's not too late for him. He might just enjoy being a responsible adult.....and you are a very caring father for wanting to make him responsible. Stick with it, Tom.

Oh yes Love is in Bloom!

I'm finally back online at home.
I'm home for today to take care of Liz.
We have 1 less car for awhile...
Liz had somebody run a Red light and she broadsided him. It was in her 2001 Civic. The car is history.
She is pretty beat up from the airbag and the seat belts. But otherwise not too bad. They have her on good drugs.

Now is the time when you need a GOOD lawyer! Hope she recovers soon. And Rob is right, she is very lucky to have you there to take care of her.

Take good care of your honey, Tom. Life sure has thrown the 2 of you some pretty bad curve balls. I'm thinking of the both of you.

    Thanks for the thoughts All!
Here's a couple pics of her car:

She is really showing black and blue this morning.

Now is when I get to compare how Divorce Lawyers and Insurance Adjusters rate on the moral scale. Seems to me that both are pretty low in MY book.
Bloodsuckers. I guess it's a job and somebody has to do it. But I don't have to like them for it.

Tom, insurance adjusters are even lower on my scale...... deal with them daily. I'd hire a good personal injury lawyer and get what she deserves My two cents.....
