WOW. thanks so much everyone. I really needed some encouragement just now. I don't have time to tell it, but there has been a little drama today. You know, families, holidays, etc. anyway, I'm going to try HARD to stay on plan. maybe having a small piece of pumpkin cheesecake, counting the carbs in it, and seeing if I made it. If I don't, today is day 82!!! that's a long dang time!

Thanks again for all the encouragment.
new years resolution: post to other people's journals more. knowing how encouraging it is when someone posts to mine, I'd like to return the favor. You guys are GREAT!

From my last post:
I'm going to try HARD to stay on plan. maybe having a small piece of pumpkin cheesecake, counting the carbs in it, and seeing if I made it.
LIE!!! Here's what ended up happening:
12/31/05-1/2/06...chips, sausages in biscuits and that cheesecake! It was SO good. I don't regret it, but I'm moving forward. Back on track 1/3/06, and will find out tomorrow morning what kind of damage I caused. I'm not changing my stats, it was just a small setback, and I am more determined than ever now.

Definately don't change your stats! You know that you'll get back to that weight if you do gain. It is great that you aren't letting this get you down and you are moving forward.

I almost never change my stats, Heather. I had that whole week of deviations and adjusted my signature to Start Weight/Current Weight/Low Weight/Goal Weight. It was a real motivator for me to get that Current Weight to be the same as my Low Weight again. I would have hated to actually change my Low Weight to the Current Weight as I knew that excess weight could come off quickly again if I really tried hard.

I'm glad that you enjoyed what you ate The worst thing for me is eating something non-LC and figuring out that I don't like it anymore and would have been happier NOT eating it. There are exceptions though... I'll still mow down anything that gets in my way to get to some good BBQ.

Have a wonderful day, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

1/3/06-I'm up to 162.0. I was going to change to motivate me, but decided that this should be off by week's end. 1. because I haven't been drinking water or tea, so some of that is water bloat and 2. because TOM just arrived this morning, so should shed some.
had quiche this morning, going out for lunch, probably chick fil a or something. I'm happy with 1.8 gain for all that I ate!

So, I was reading back through here, and remembered that I was afraid to hit 100 because what if I didn't want to start again? I decided it's a really good thing I just went to 82. I feel a sense of accomplishment, but I'm not there yet, so I'm motivated to keep going. I need to revamp the menu some. Getting sick of salad, tuna and quiche. I like them, but...kind of bored.

Hi, Heather! You are doing good and kicked all of our Holiday butts. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years? You would have to be not of this world to be able to make it through one and you made it through 3! I think your body just couldn't take it past 82 because you would have gone into shock, ended up in the hospital and force fed fudge.

Today is day 3. Hey Max and Heather. I'm going to meet that goal by March. PERIOD. Its only 15 lbs! I am now at 160.8. Almost done with the 1.8 NY gain. I'm telling you, the water really helps. Yesterday I ate a lot of processed lunch meat, and some taco bell for dinner! And I still lost 1.2. So, today is Thursday 1/5. Not weighing again until Sunday if I can help it.
