I have this wedding tomorrow night. I'm in my closet trying on clothes (none that fit!) and end up with the only size 16 I own. It is kind of tight. I tried on a suit I wore to a wedding this same time last year...can't even begin to zip it. man, how depressing. I'm going to drink some more water and some green tea (now is NOT the time to try giving that up to "see what happens"!!!
I'll have fun, and I'll get this weight off. It's just more motivation to stick with it for the 100 days challenge! and once that gets us through New Years, I should be home free.
man. still mad.

I'm not cheating. But those nuts are about to do me in! I'm not eating them, but I sure want to. I'll be glad when they are GONE!
one more hour and I'm out of here for the weekend. I have my stuff all in a corner in the refrigerator to pack up. ham, cheese sticks, cucumbers, sf jello, I'm ready for the carb pushers!

Heather, great job with the walks :great: . Marvellous control over the nuts. I know when I start eating them, I can not stop. However, sometimes when I am really craving I just eat one or two and then ask myself "Are these really worth it?" and the answer is usually "NO". That usually works for me and makes me feel more in control.

Thanks, Ambition! I'm trying!!

FYI-I did not have one chip, any cake, or brownies or cookies on the church retreat this weekend. I had a lot of salad, some of the food I brought, and just made good choices with the food served. I also went on an "unintentional hour long hike" with two of the other girls there. We were going to go a different way to avoid a big cliff because one of the girls has bad knees. We ended up having to climb one anyway and were lost for an hour as well. talk about lots o exercise!

I am encouraged by the weekend, but discouraged by my progress. I am sticking with it, but still am stuck at 4-5 pounds! argh. I've cut out nuts and I'm doing my very best with water and watching for sneaky carbs. Weighing on friday and I better have lost some more...OR ELSE!!! I don't know what that means. But I'm saying it!

ok, as soon as I get Theo in the car I'm going to ask if he wants to go for a stroller ride when we get home. If I don't ask asap, I talk myself out of it. but there is no talking him out of it!
So, Tuesday walk w/ stroller, and I don't know about the rest of the week, but I'm going to try really hard for 3x per week. I know that isn't a lot, but it is more than I'm doing right now. I'm frustrated!

Didn't do the stroller ride. :-( I don't know why, just didn't. Tonight is bible study. Tomorrow, we could do it, then Friday is the carnival at the school. The weekend is filling up fast. I don't know how that happens, but it always does.
I'm seriously considering a treadmill. Then I could do it when he goes to bed while I watch tv. Ambition has me thinking, heck, I could even get up at 4am like she does! NOT. but I could do it then! We'll see what happens with theo, I may be at the gym sooner than I think...

Ok, April. If I go this weekend, I'll tell you what I find.
I went to the dr today, upper resp infection. The good news is that I weighed today...172.8!!! That's 7.2 lost! only 12.8 to go by Thanksgiving (I've adjusted that goal so many times I can't remember what it is now!)

changing signature tomorrow...

Also, I figured out how to get that last 16oz of water in. I accidentally set my mouth on FIRE with some "medium" spicy guacamole! argh!!! but I sure chugged the water! ha! Gotta tell Noel.

Feeling a little better today, still coughing and stomach sore because I have coughed so much! I'm giving myself a little break on the water because I don't drink it for a while after I take the cough med so it will coat my throat. should still drink 64 oz, over that...doubt it.
Busy weekend ahead. Hope I feel tons better tomorrow...
oh and I stepped on the scale this morning, just to be sure. and yea, still 172.8.
and I am putting it in the garage tonight!!! to weigh fridays ONLY.

Hi Heather,

Hope you feel better over the weekend. Great job on the weight loss ... Its nice that you are thinking about buying a treadmill. It is really helpful in the winter time to get your aerobics in-door. I usually do 30 mins either late at night or really early in the morning when my daughter is sleeping. Good luck. :great:

Good weekend, managed to stay on track through eating out with family, Halloween party and cupcakes at church class...yaye me!
water was decent this weekend, not great. going to be good this week, I'm feeling some better, still coughing a lot.
Still haven't checked into the treadmill...
