Tried to make a shake by just mixing an Atkins shake w/ some Walden's Farm Peanut Butter and ice. I think it gave it a kind of weird texture and not enough peanut butte flavor. I am going to try next time with heavy cream, natural peanut butter and ice...

AND I did some yard work for about an hour!

This morning 180.2.

I'm not going to change the signature until after April 5. That will be after the mom's go home and the Spain trip is over. We will see where I am then. I am REALLY in a groove now, though, so maybe I'll be able to stay pretty well on track for those couple weeks.

180 this morning, and TOTALLY flirting w/ 179.

DH has had to start back to PT, so he leaves the house at 5:45. I should SO be getting up and walking when he leaves. But it's still cold and has lately been SUPER windy, like we live in Chicago or something!

Maybe...just maybe...I'll bust out a work out DVD and do that! hhhmmm...
I really would love to get good into the 170s before the vacation.

Breakfast-atkins shake
Lunch-hb patty/lettuce/mayo
Dinner-taco salad

H.R. - Good going at that shower! I know how difficult it is to fight tempatation for hours and hours. Good luck getting into the next decade. That's always a psychological boost. Have a good week!

179.6 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I ended up with a ham/cream cheese wrap last night. Taco salad didn't work out. I tried to make it with ground turkey. I did NOT like it.
So I ended up with the ham.
Today-2 eggs 2 sausage for bfast
Lunch-no idea
Dinner-REAL taco salad...let's try this again!

argh! I ate breaded chicken tenders with my salad at lunch!!! They were out of the grilled chicken, and I was with people, so I couldn't just leave! I should have just had the salad but I was really hungry! If I'm figuring anywhere close (I figured 17, an average from several fitday guesses) so right now a total of 22 net right now. So I can still easily stay under 30 for the day, but argh!! We don't run out of grilled chicken!!!

The day didn't get much better. Beginning in the morning I got several sad emails. A good friend's dog died, another good friend's dad is very ill, and we recently lost a Soldier to suicide who had gotten himself so deep in with lies about who he was and what he had accomplished that he felt there was no way out. Just very very sad.
As the day progressed, there were several work dramas playing out. None of which were my issue, but all of which I am expected to take the lead in dealing with. I think this all played a part in some emotional eating.
After the chicken tender fiasco at lunch and the day I had, I really wanted to have a carbfest. That being said, I didn't do THAT bad. I made manwich for dinner (because it was the easiest thing). dh had it on toast w/ Ruffles. I had it on lettuce. and 4 Ruffles. I also had an LC margarita. That Baja Bob's mix isn't too bad. I figured it all up and believe I had 40-45 for the day. Not great, but not what I was headed for...

Today is a new day...though not looking too promising. I have no food at work. I'm skipping breakfast and going to call in chicken breast/broccoli lunch and pick it up (because I don't trust myself to go eat at this place). Dinner? No idea.
oh, and still holding steady at 179.6

Small victories! dance2
I did order the "loaded chicken dinner" from my favorite restaurant. Chicken breast w/ a little teriyaki and cheese and bacon with broccoli. I get double broccoli, no baked potato. Total: 11 carbs!!!!! I still kind of wanted something I shouldn't have, but I didn't get it and I got out of there in a red hot hurry! When you get 2x vegetable w/ no potato, it is broccoli and carrots. I didn't eat the carrots, there are only about 1/2 cup, but they aren't great and I don't love them, so I'm skippin the carbs!
and I am FULL! **insert "stuffed!" smiley here!

now...just have to tackle/survive dinner! but with 9 carbs allowed, I think I'll be fine.

ps-hate this time zone business. it's lonely until the afternoon! (except for Rob who is sometimes on at some crazy time! )

Heather, I just want to say how much I appreciate our military and their families. Very sad about the serviceman who took his life. Many thanks for the daily sacrifices you guys make to serve our country.

Heather, if all you had was about 50 carbs, then it's not so bad at all. When I think of carbfest, I think of going over 100+! It sounds like you're holding your own, despite the drama around you. Just hang in there, you'd be surprised at how strong you can really be.
