    Day 17/100
I was able to do the aerobics video last night and did my 30 mins of treadmill this morning. We had free lunch at school today and I am proud to say that I kept away from all the bread, pasta and sweets and had only salad and tuna.

    Day 19/100
Did my 30 mins of treadmill early in the morning but than messed up during the day. Ate half a bagel with lots of cream cheese. Granted that the cream cheese was delicious and therefore I kind of ate up half a bagel in bits and pieces with it, but even the cream cheese itself was a calorie overload. As if that was not enough, I overate on the food that was brought from outside on Friday night. I just need to keep away from this Friday night food overindulgence. Well, all I can say is that valuable lessons were learned today.

    Day 20/100
Day going well so far. My scale is not moving that much now but my clothes seem to be a little looser now. The jeans are getting looser at the waist. I think that 30 mins of treadmill a day is helping in toning up.
Yes, one fifth done of the 100 day.

Thanks Katie and FrannyGlass for visiting my journal. The treadmill is a great source of indoor aerobics for me.

    Day 21/100
I joined a Gym yesterday and am very proud of myself for doing that. I told the trainer there that I need to focus my efforts on lower body and he showed me a few of the lower body and abs strenght training machines and I went around using those machines with him for half an hour. It was great to feel all the muscles of my legs move, but boy did my legs ache for the rest of the day and night. I almost took some pain killers at night before sleeping but then thought of waiting till morning and felt much better in the morning.
The experience was an eye opener. I must not be using much of those muscles in my everyday life style and 30 min of treadmill everyday. The trainer said that I should do those machines 3-5 times a week along with my daily aerobics and I should be able to see results in 60-90 days. Which means that it should be along the time frame till the end of this 100 day challenge. I have a feeling that this should work. There is no harm in trying, the only problem is to find the time to go to the gym and spend an hour there. But I will try my level best to spend 60 mins in gym every other day and then 30 mins of aerobics either at home or gym every day

    Day 22/100
I saw a loss of another 1 lb this morning. It is so nice to see 130s on the scale.
Yesterday went well. I went to the gym with my hubby and did aerobics for 45 mins. Today is my day to add strength training to the aerobics and I have kept an hour aside to go to the gym.
Onward and forward with day # 22

Thanks Maxibee, I saw that you have started to exercise too. Great job!!!
    Day 23/100
went well. I ate on plan and also went to the gym and did 45 mins of cycling, step machines and treadmill.
    Day 24/100
Today is my strength training day at the gym. My hubby has agreed to join me there so he can be my trainer/encourager to try a little harder. I feel like it is always nice to have someone workout with you on those machines. I have already fixed a time slot for it after work. Lets hope I can make it.

Here is a question. I have been going to the gym since last 4 days and my weight seems to be increasing consistantly????? I have not made any major changes in my diet, so I dont understand how doing more exercise than my usual 30 mins of treadmilll, can lead to wt gain???????Somebody help explain PLEASE!!!!

Hmmm...building muscle?? Make sure you're drinking your water and eating enough carbs. Take your measurements again...might be where you find the biggest difference.

Thanks for visiting my journal frannyglass. Could I be building muscels in just 4 days of workout??? I dont know? Yes. I do make sure that I take a lot of water during day. I have not taken my starting measurements, but it is a good idea. Maybe I should measure myself now to see difference in the future.

    Day 25/100
went well. Eating went as planned and I went to gym after work and did 30 mins of aerobics and then strength training after that.

    Day 28/100
Cooking and cleaning today. Planning to study all day tomorrow. I did not go to the gym yesterday or today but I did my 30 min of treadmill this evening. When I had started going to the gym, my legs were killing me, but a day of gap has helped and I don?t feel that crunch in my legs anymore.
My weigh-in day is Monday; I know I had started to gain when I started the gym. Let?s see what the scale shows on Monday, I hope that things will be more settled with my body and I would not show a gain anymore:(

    Day 29/100
I saw another 1 lb loss this morning. I have gone down from 2 lb a week loss to 1 lb a week loss but am not complaining about it. I started seeing a little gain after I joined the gym last week and my muscles were killing me, but that lasted less than a week. My clothes are getting looser (except for the jeans it?s still sticking to my butts).
I did weights at the gym with my hubby yesterday, it is always nice to do that with company. Keeps me going.

I have a confession to make. I get really really discouraged whenever I go to school for my graduate classes. We have a whole variety of people in our class, but you can count the people who are on the heavier side on your fingertips. The girls in my class are really lean and athletic looking. I condiser myself among some of those heavy sided people when compared to these girls. Its not only that these people look much slimmer and shapely, but what KILLS ME is that they are eating all kind of junk and sugar loaded stuff all the time in the class. They engage in such mindless eating during the class. They are literally eating bags of potato chips and chocolate bars while attending the lecture and not even paying attention to it (I mean they might not be even tasting it since they are paying attention to the lecture). I feel very angry and mad inside. How come I have to pay soooo much attention to every grain of food that goes into my body and work my butts off (and my butts are still their heavy size) at the gym and still be considered on the heavy side, while all these junk eaters can wear probably a size 0 to 2 jeans .

I just wanted to ventilate out and so I did. I feel a little better now :bear:

Urgh...I HATE people eating in class...soooo disrespectful. Can't stand to hear anyone chewing...'hey!!...this ain't the movies people!' When I'm paying big bucks to learn something, I don't wanna listen to Sally-the-Stick opening a bag of Doritos, chomp her way thru 'em, nor SMELL 'em!! Uck!! I am very good at giving the 'evil eye' in those situations.
