OK, no more excuses.
No more "life happens" reasons for backsliding.
It's lose it or become diabetic any day now.
My BP's even been up a bit from my normal.
This is "the point of no return".

I restarted induction a week ago and am down 7 pounds! I am now 15 pounds down from my highest weight.

I did allow several small candy bars as an indulgence last night with the holiday, with the promise to myself that it would not continue into today. I've succeeded and had a very good day.

I'm following the basic premises of Atkins, as always, but am reading SBD. I do believe eating healthy whole grain and fruit carbs in small amounts can only be good for me. I just can't give up my cream in my coffee and a little butter on my veggies! We'll see. This is MY way of eating, MY way of life. I'll only succeed with divine intervention though.

Today:
Br---Breakfast casserole with veggies/coffee
Snack---green tea and 2 strawberries/2 pieces honeydew at Bible study
Lunch---kinda forgot to eat...had cheese cubes and few nuts mid-afternoon
Supper---ham/sugar peas/alfredo sauce/salad/sf blueberry pie minus most crust, with half and half

No exercise today but housework.

That's it for today!

No time to weigh this am. Feeling good.

Br---coffee early/scr eggs/1 bacon
Lunch---few slices roast beef (1-2 oz at most)/8 grapes
Snack---2 slim jims
Supper---steak/mushrooms/green beans/nice salad
snack---"taco in a bowl"...taco meat/cheese/salsa/sour cream/lettuce/~10 crumbled fritos for crunch...ended up having this snack too late but was very hungry (ate dinner too early!)/few bites of blueberry filling of homemade sf pie

Hey Lori,

Sorry I've been so out of touch...

I broke ("fractured" actually) my foot 2 weeks ago and that has really put a limp in my already hectic schedule. I'm currently at the mercy of whatever whomever will fix me... just maintaining... Need to start losing again, but not likely anytime soon :o

You haven't posted for a few days. Hope all is well

Sometimes we even resist Him don't we? I know I have many, many times.

Hope things are going well for you.
