Great news Hayne! I knew you could make it into "onederland." And so did you!

I was there for quite a while. I just blew it. Nobodies fault but my own. Let my guard down. But I'll get back there with you soon. I hope real soon.
    Keep up the great effort.
I wish you happy sweating! hehe

Only 10 to go to onderland Tom and men lose weight so quickly it seems, so not fair! Least not to us fair maidens!

    Well... it IS true!

I've always heard that if you do not make time for exercise FIRST thing in the morning before work, before anything... that you will, most times, not get around to doing it and that is exactly what has happened to me!

For the past two days I have not worked out in the AM, telling myself I'd do it at lunch or I'd do it after work and didnt! So from now on... its an early AM workout for me!!!

I don't feel near as good when I don't at least do the treadmill in the morning before I start my day! These past few days haven't been anywhere near as productive and I've felt sluggish and tired and just out of it, so I am for sure getting on the treadmill bright and early in the morning!!

    Good luck Hayne.
Next week I'm back to my workout regiment: 45 minutes/day cardio at 4am M-F and M-W-F gym for 2-3hours after work. I agree with you. I felt so much better and much more energy on the days that i did the morning cardio to start the day.

Great job on getting into ONEderland. Where'd you get that morphing gif?

Hey Tom, well... sad to report but I DIDN'T get on the treadmill again this morning! Grrrrrrrrrr... its so easy to make a bad habit and so hard to make or get back into a good one, I will do it today at lunch!!

Good luck on getting back to your routine!

April, I made the morphing gif. I'd take my before pic and my during pic in the same stance - not really knowing I'd use it for an animation but just for the sake of accuracy so I could see the changes that would be happening.

When I was looking at it the other day I thought COOL, I'll make it animate so I can really see the difference and I tell ya... sometimes when I feel down or feel like eating, I just look at that animation and it spurrs me on!

I can't do hundreds, but if some of you all would like one and you have good clear photos post here letting me know and I'll see about creating you one!

Well, off to work I go!

I think I may have lost 3-5 lbs this week!! (here's hoping!)

Well, looks like I thought wrong! ahaha

Atthe beginning of the week last week I was 3-5 lbs down, that quickly changed though, not sure why... could have been those few sips of real coke I had! I didn't mean to, I got an order to go and when I was drinking the coke I looked over at my friend and said "this drink is goooooooood" she said, it must not be diet then and it hit me, it wasn't!!!!!!!!! Duh!!!

Whatever the cause I only lost 1 lbs last week and my willpower this week is at a real low. I still haven't got back into exercising (how about you Tom?).

    I've got to do better!!!

I am seriously wanting to go to the grocery store for CEREAL! ahaha I always want cereal, Fruity Pebbles to be extact!!

Oh... its tough going right now!!!

    Hiya Hayne!
The knees were giving me some issues so I did not make the enthusiastic show that I had hoped for. I did make it to the gym last night. Yea! I can't even stomach regular soda anymore so I can't make those kinds of oopsies. I just don't like the flavor of the sugar versions. Oh cereal :( that will not help matters. Here's something I have for breakfast cereal hot. I put 2 scoops of ground flaxmeal in a bowl and 2-3 scoops of protein powder, either chocolate or vanilla. Add some hot water and mix. The protein powder usually has some sweetness to it from the flavoring. You can add water to whatever consistancy you wish. Mine is rib-stickin' hehe. Tomorrow I go in for knee fluid shots so no gym. :( I'm gonna do the cardio in the morning to replace it.
Hang in there! Your making great progress. Keep it up. Try not to get caught in the winter hibernation mode. Tom.

Next time I go to the grocery store I will see about getting those items to make the cereal Tom.

I didn't have the Fruity Pebbles, only because it was too cold to go out to get them, so instead I had oatmeal and two peices of bread! SO BAD!

I shouldn't have done it but I did.

I don't know what's with me, I am all out of whack lately, my routine has been thrown off since my mom arrived, its not her fault, can't blame her, its just that since she's been here my routine has changed and now I feel like a lazy lump and don't want to get back into it AND I don't know WHY?

A lot of it may be that I am SO TIRED of eating the same ole same ole day after day... I am still in induction and since I don't like a lot of veggies, just lettuce and green beans from what I can have on induction my choices are very few and I am bored to death with it.

I am wondering if its not best to perhaps move out of induction so I can have more choices but to exercise more to make up for it? Thing is... will I actually get back into my exercise habit? That's really bothering me, its like I am sabotaging myself!!! My own worst enemy :-(

How long have you been on Induction? Seems to me that is you have been on it so long that you are getting bored then you should be looking to moving on to OWL. You can still control your intact. But your variety is greatly increased. You may even see an improvement in your weight loss. Sometimes your body will become more efficient at using some carbs. Many people report that after long induction periods their weight loss rate increases after adding some carbs. This is not an excuse to have a carbfest thought (sorry that means the Fruity Pebbles are out). I understand about being out of your routine. If I am over 30 minutes late to the gym, I'm mentally behind and seem to look for and find excuses for just not going that night. We are all human.

    Oh well...

I've surely went off the deep end!

I've gained about 7 lbs and now I figure what the hell... Thanksgiving is tomorrow, no need in trying to resist now, just GOT to get back into it on Friday. (its NOT going to be easy, but it can be done!).

I am going to use Matt from the biggest loser as my hero, he ate and gained like crazy a few weeks ago and then the next week lost what 26-28 lbs!!!!! Massive!

Of course he works out a lot harder than I do but I am not expecting to lose over 20 lbs in one week, sure would be great though wouldn't it!!! :-)

Hopefully I can at least get off the extra weight I've gained in a week, that seems to be a typical occurrence for me but then I have got to stick with it and that means taking a seriously hard look at what my pitfalls are and so far its stress, lack of food options (boredom) and the worst ----> how easy it is for me to fall out of my routine.

If anyone has any advice, please give it!

    Hiya Hayne!
Don't get discouraged. You've done quite well so far. We all have little bumps in the road. For Thanksgiving just do your best to eat on plan. I know it will be tough. There is so much that you can eat that will fill you up and then maybe it will help with your temptation to eat the nasty goodies. I have noticed that if I drink warm dirnks, usually green tea, I'm not very hungry. BTW, when somebody passes the big bowl of mashed potatoes just take it and swing it over right to the person to you. You can do it!
    Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Tom.

as for the cereal.. i eat maggies cereal... (its no fruity pepples..but..) its warm.. its filling... and the HIGH FIBER keeps me satisfied a long time..

i am a cereal addict... given my own way.. i could eat it every night .. several bowls..(my addiction was honey nut cheerios or shredded mini wheats... raison bran if i was feeling like a change *L*)

there is not a DAY that goes by that i dont miss my old friend CEREAL... but.. in order to keep my weight down... i have switched to the maggies cereal..
its fast,.. its easy... and its yummy!

i add maple syrup (sugarfree) and or splenda...

hang in there kiddo... its a journey...

    you'll get there!

Happy Thanksgiving, and hang in there, Hayne! Whatever day you choose to go back on plan, you CAN do it!

What's boring you about the food options? Do you just need some more recipe ideas, or is there particular foods that you crave that you can't find a LC option that will satisfy the craving? Let us know, and we'll help
