Love love love the picture Rob! I really need that on a mug. Spring sprung here. The flowering pear trees and the forsythia bushes are flowering, and daffodils are blooming, and I haven't looked yet but I'm sure my lillies are poking their heads up. And all the trees are budding. I'm sure that anytime now we'll have either a blizzard or an ice storm to kill everything off! LOL! This type of thing doesn't usually happen this early!

Nita, that pic reminds me of my old dog Shadow. Part Great Dane, part German Short Hair, Completely incorrigable!

All right, I won't start by making you a minute muffin. I promise. No matter how much you don't ask.

Barb - sure did! Made a pot of decaf coffee last night and used up about a fifth of a bottle of that syrup (not to mention about a quarter of a fifth of something else).

Trina - I was thinking the same thing. That picture on a mug would make a great gift for just about anyone in my coffee addicted family. My mother always told us "don't talk to me until I'm half through my second cup of coffee". Cheerful morning people were buried in our basement,

Kim _ the sniff is in the mail but prolly some postal guy from Chicago will intercept it because it smells so wonderful. I couldn't saw the porterhouse bone in half so I gave it to sophie and after 10 minutes gave it to Sandy. You shoulda seen the look sophie gave me when I ripped it out of her mouth and gave it to Sandy. I now know the dog words for "you ba*tard". But after a bit more time i gave it back to sophie and then back to sandy. etc. by the end of the evening they were passing it back and forth on their own.
Sorry about the snow in the Idaho potholder.

Nita - Yes we have all sorts of flowers and flowering trees in bloom too. Daffodils in full bloom already. wow. I've seen the fires reported on the news. Very frightening. I hope you get a lot of rain soon! Wow that is One BIG dog.

Beach - I looked online for this picture on a coffe mug and teh first one I found was from Australia.

Eddie - Happens often when we get too early a spring. 3 years ago we had cherry blosssoms in january and then winter came in march.

Maggie - I knew of only one family with a Great Dane. Incorrigible is thr right word. They finally had to send him off for readoption after he broke through the garage wall.

Only walked 2 miles yesterday. made some baked ziti for dinner with more meat than macaroni (dreamfield's).

Sandy continues to be adorable but she is growing and I fear she will son be able to reach my face when she stands on her hind legs. Is it just me or does everyone thing a dog licking your face is disgusting. so far she's about 4 inches short of being able to lick my chin. I like the fact that she is pretty much house trained at 9 months. haven't had an accident in weeks. well a wee bit of wee wee. But all I do is drag her by her collar over to the wet spot and put her head flat on the carpet an inch away and say NO bad etc. She has the routine down pat so when i start to grab her sheruns to the spot and puts her head down an inch from the spot and has this silly expression on her face. Cannot stay mad at her for more than a few seconds.
