Woke up really late today. Can you say noon? Anyway doing pretty well with eating so far. Went out for lunch and had beef tips with mushrooms in au jois gravy (way too salty), with a big side salad and lots of water.

Stomach is still not feeling 100% from the other day. BLEAH!

Hi Sarah, welcome to my journal. Thanks for stopping by. This group is quite awesome, I agree. I used to be a pretty darn regular contributor after I joined in Feb. 2004 until I got sidetracked by life, lol.

Thanks Shelley. I am hoping to stay on track today.

Scale has stayed at 154 for 2 days so I think I can keep that number. Today is the first day since being sick that my stomach has felt completely normal. Last 3 days have been a struggle to get even 1000 cal into me. Diet Pepsi was the only thing that was taking the queasies away.

Well thanks for stopping by Franny. Recuperation has not been good for me eating wise today, however. Found and made a package of Atkins Orange & Cranberry Muffins I used to love. Needless to say I did not stop at one (embarassed to say 6 !) Well that pretty much makes up for all the calories and carbs I missed over the last 3-4 days.

I think today I will try just not to go anymore crazy than I am and start strict induction tomorrow.

They weren't supposed to be a birthday treat, they were just supposed to be a simple but different breakfast for me, lol. I wanted some nice red wine later for my birthday treat.

- Susie thanks for the B-Day thoughts.
-Kim, thanks as well. As for thinking of Ed's journal while seeing the title of mine...hmm, did you all have a Monty Python thing or something going for awhile. Or is it just the constant twisted sense of humor that permeates there, . As for the muffins, at least they were low carb or the damage could have been massive.
