Supper ended up being two hamburger patties. I got us burgers from Sonic, & I threw away my bread.

I made sugar-free pudding w/lc milk & cream--turned out like a mousse, and I ended up eating the whole thing! I felt so sick after.

I did, however, manage to get my gallon of water--YAY!

Did some arm exercises last night, too.

This morning John took us out for breakfast. I had a western omelette with a side of bacon. There were hash browns on the plate, and I managed to stay away from them. I only ate half of the omelette, and brought the rest home. John got huevos rancheros for himself, with bacon on the side. It came w/beans & hash browns & tortillas on the side. He also ordered for Bob--pancakes! We brought half of them home, too. I had water to drink. I'm up to about 48 oz. so far.

Got on the bike for 10 minutes today! In that time I went 3.5 miles! That was with no resistance. Maybe tomorrow I'll add some resistance and try to do the same amt of time & distance.

Snacked all afternoon on almonds and a vanilla omm spread w/cream cheese mixed w/vanilla DaVinci's.

Made Dreamfields pasta for supper w/chicken breasts, bell pepper, celery, & no sugar added pasta sauce (6g per 1/2 c.). Made a garlic & parmesan omm, & it was enough for all of us to have a bit.

My legs are really sore. I guess I'm not used to the bike yet. I'm hoping if I can just keep it up for a few days the soreness will ease.

I'm not going to make the mistake of making mousse & eating it all by myself again. Maybe tonight I'll make a chocolate omm w/Kahlua DaVinci's & a few chopped macadamias. I made one last night, & it was fabulous! I could top it off with some more of that cream cheese! Or maybe I'll add some cocoa powder to the mix & have a chocolate frosting of sorts. Mmmmmm.....

Still plan on doing a little arm work again tonight. I think I should try to do a few reps every day, since I'm planning to work my legs every day, too.

Not really sure about exercising tomorrow. I'm having a cavity filled in the morning. I'm not really a morning person, so I don't want to work out before my appt. I think if I go into the dentist's office half asleep, things will go more smoothly!

There's enough pasta left over that John can have lunch tomorrow. He can either share w/Bob or make him something else. I have my shakes made & in the fridge. I think I'll probably need the liquid diet only for the rest of the day.

Okay, so I lied...I did make chocolate mousse. But I didn't use the sf pudding. I just whipped some cream, added some sweetener and some cocoa, and voila! much lower in carbs than the Jell-o!

Oh, speaking of Jell-o, I'd better make some sf gelatin and put it in the fridge tonite...that could be supper tomorrow!

Had that darn cavity filled this morning. I'm not nearly as out-of-it as I expected. Just a little numb, but still able to talk & make sense. I could probably go ahead & eat whatever I want to, but I think I'll stick with the liquid diet for today. Maybe it will give me a jump down in the right direction!

I did come home and take a painkiller, hoping to stave off any discomfort. I can feel the occasional pulse, letting me know my gums aren't dead, just asleep for now, and that when they are fully awake they may be screaming! I go back Tuesday for a cleaning, then nothing until after Chicago. Then I get to have 2 more cavities filled. Joy! They are smaller and not as close to a nerve as this one was.

Gonna go drink a shake for brunch!

Ah, the joys of dental work. You need to go read up in Maggie's journal about her adventure in dentistry. Ack!

John picked up Chinese food for lunch. He brought me a bowl of egg drop soup. Low in carbs, high is sodium, but it was very good. I also had a big glass of water, and for "dessert" I drank one of my shakes from the fridge. I shouldn't have to eat again until suppertime.

I did manage to get on the bike today. I did 2.5 miles in 5 minutes with no resistance, then I added some resistance and did another 1.5 miles for another 5 minutes.

Had some sf cherry gelatin w/some cream cheese mixed w/ a little vanilla Davinci's for a snack. Supper was another shake. Drank lots of water today, too. Was able to eat some pork rinds w/avocado & salsa for a nighttime snack. Mmmm... Polished off the jello, too. I probably could have eaten normal food earlier in the day, but I just didn't feel like it. (Well, I did swipe a piece of shrimp, half a piece of sweet & sour chicken, and a couple of water chestnuts off John's plate @ lunch. That was the only real food I had until this evening.)
I think maybe I'll take an Ambien and get into bed. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow--I can feel it!

Made us a spice omm this morning & spread cream cheese on it. Had lc choc milk w/it, too.

Going to try and ride the bike for a few minutes before I have to go out.

Haven't had any water yet, except to take meds, so I'd better get a move on.

Mom made it for me--I think it's Maggies recipe, or a variation thereof. The chocolate milk is Carb Countdown. I mix half chocolate & half fat free. They're the only ones available here. Tastes pretty good.

John wanted Pizza Hut for lunch, but he didn't want to tempt me. I told him if that's what he wanted, we'd go ahead and eat there. So we did. I had a huge salad w/ real bacon bits, sunflower seeds, shredded cheese, chopped egg, a couple of cherry tomatoes, and ranch dressing. I had the toppings off of 3 pieces of pizza (2 pepperoni, 1 supreme), and I ate a very small slice of thin crust cheese. I figured the small amount of crust wouldn't affect me that much. I had tea to drink. Really need to get to the water, though.

I was able to do 12 minutes on the bike this morning, too. I did 1.5 miles with some resistance, then turned the resistance up for another 1.5 miles. Then the last mile, I switched to no resistance and slowed down a bit to cool down. Just kinda playing to see what best works for me so I still get a good workout but don't overdo it. I didn't get a chance to work my arms last night, so I need to make sure I do tonight.

Bad, bad, very bad! I had cornmeal-breaded catfish for supper. I told John that's what I wanted, and he got it for me. It just sounded so good! Tasted good, too. But I was good in that I did not get any fries or a potato of any kind. I heated a can of green beans instead. Made myself a blueberry omm for dessert w/some cream cheese. Snaps for not going out and getting powdered doughnuts????

Tomorrow's a new day, and I'm gonna try really hard not to give in to temptation. Also gonna try really hard to get in my gallon of water.

I feel so fat today. I really need to get my fat bottom on that bike and ride!

I told John to pick up some barbacoa for breakfast. I've got some lc tortillas, and I think there's an avocado in the fridge. If he wants regular tortillas, he's gonna have to go buy them.

I've already had about 24 oz. of water, and I've refilled my big mug.

Planning to do much better today.
