I'm almost 3/4 of the way there as far as my gallon of water goes. Had some cantaloupe w/ a couple of strawberries & a few blueberries for lunch. Was still hungry so I made a spice omm w/cream cheese on top. Had some nuts a little later. Not sure what to do for supper.

Did 5 miles on the bike today. Haven't worked my arms in a few days. Need to find time to do that sometime today.

Carne guisada for supper on a lc tortilla. Chocolate mousse for dessert. Nuts to snack on. Didn't get my veggies in, but I'm planning a big salad for lunch tomorrow.

Worked my arms a little, too.

Almost to that gallon of water!

Didn't have b-fast. Had an early lunch, though. Brisket & a salad w/ ranch dressing. Made a gingerbread omm for dessert. Had another omm, spice, for a snack w/ a cuppa decaf Earl Grey tea. Supper was steak & winter mix veggies (broc & cauli). Trying hard to get in my gallon of water!

Did a coupla mins on the cardioglide, then switched to the bike & rode 5 miles.

Made a omm & experimented a bit w/some orange flavored drink mix as flavor. Put waaaaaaay too much of it in. Covered it w/some cream cheese & it wasn't too bad.

Made Bob I me a blueberry omm this morning & spread cream cheese on it. Bob was still hungry, so I made a strawberry flavored one, & we shared half of it. Still have the other half left for a snack later. Had some Carb Countdown choc. milk, too.

We're gonna go to the post office then to WalMart. Don't think I'll park too far out, since it's so hot already. I'm getting in my exercise on the bike anyway. Haven't gotten on it yet today, but I've noticed that I have more energy to do it in the early afternoon.

Well, Bob is getting anxious to get out of the house, so we'd better go do our errands.

Made tuna salad for lunch & ate it w/ pork rinds. Had a boiled egg & some avocado as well.

Beth, sounds as if you're doing well!

I love avocados! They're so remarkably satisfying, I like to make some guacamole and dip it with pork rinds.

Bob woke me up early this morning--well, early for me. So, at 7:45, I was making him toast & jelly and me a one minute muffin. I think maybe I'll make egg salad for lunch. I've had a hankering.

I have an appt. to have my teeth cleaned this morning. The first time in 15 years! Wonder how long it'll take for her to chip away all that plaque & tartar? I had a cavity filled last week and had almost no pain! I am so impressed with this dentist, that I'm gonna give her even more $$$ to fix more teeth!

John went to San Angelo early this morning. There's a tapping in the engine of our NEW 2006 car, and the dealer is finally going to fix it. We've had the car six months, and the tapping has been there since day one.

Funny story: I was making supper last night--pork steaks with green beans for me, pork with pasta & veggies for John. Bob had McD's. I put the pasta & veggies in the micro with a cover that was too big for the bowl I had the food in. Well, when I went to remove the bowl, the cover had suctioned itself to the top of the bowl! I tried forever to take it off, and John even spent about 10 minutes trying to break the suction. I suppose I've learned my lesson about using the microwave covers, but I like to look at it as a sign that John doesn't need to be eating pasta, peas, and corn!!!! LOL!

Snack was a spice omm w/cream cheese. Supper was fried chicken and a whole dill pickle. I know I shoulda had some more veggies in there today, but tomorrow I'll try really hard to have a salad.

Didn't quite make my gallon today. I did, however, ride a total of 6.5 miles on the bike--2.5 this morning and 4 this afternoon. I really do enjoy it now. I am reading my Atkins book while I ride!

Had a few strawberries & blueberries w/cream this evening.

Got a couple more avocados at the store today. Will probably make some guacamole tomorrow. Mmmmmm....

This morning we had a quesadilla (lc tortilla w/a few slices of american cheese, nuked about 30 sec.). Then a choc. omm w/cream cheese (my new favorite food!).

We're heading to a movie this afternoon--not sure which SA we're going to, San Angelo or San Antonio, but we're determined to take Bob to see Cars! If we go to San Antonio, Bob can see his other grandmother.

We absolutely LOVED the movie. So much so that John wants to go back without Bob so we can pay better attention to it. I was reallllly bad yesterday, too. I was good in that I had a chef salad for lunch, but after that, it was all downhill. I had a cheese & fruit danish in the afternoon, popcorn @ the movies, and mexican food (buffet) for supper. Chile rellenos don't have a lot of carbs, but tortillas, rice, beans, & enchiladas do, not to mention the sopapillas and honey!

But today is a new day, so I am trying really hard not to cheat. John wants Pizza Hut again for lunch, and I think I can handle that if I stay away from the crust! I can have a great big salad, then just eat the toppings off a few pieces of pizza.

Haven't gotten on the bike yet today. Might wait until after lunch when I have a little more energy. Bob & I slept until almost 11 this morning. Well, we didn't get home until 1:00 last night. Would have gotten home a little earlier, but we came across an accident on the way, and we stopped to call 911 and make sure everyone was OK before we headed home. Couple was ok. He had swerved to miss a deer and ended up rolling the car. It was on its side when we got there, and she was climbing out. She didn't appear to be hurt, perhaps a few scratches & bruises. He had bumped his head pretty good and maybe broken his arm. But they were not seriously injured.

Gotta go--things to do.

Had a spice omm w/cream cheese for b-fast. Lunch was brisket (not pizza, thank goodness!) and a salad. I did also have a taste of potato salad , but that's all--I promise! Now I'm drinking a diet orange soda w/a little half & half--tastes like a Dreamsicle--Mmmmmmm....... I usually add a little cream to my diet sodas, but I'm out of cream right now. I really should go and drink a big glass of water, but not until I'm finished w/ my Dreamsoda!

Think maybe I'll make a omm to hold me over until supper. Not really sure what I'm going to make. We all got a late start on everything today, so supper will probably be late, too.

Bob had a seizure @ lunch, & he's been tired ever since. Maybe I'll see if he wants to take a nap, and I'll join him!

Bob had another seizure this evening. Was really unusual. Started out as it normally does, then when we thought he was coming out of it, his head just whipped to the side, eyes rolled back, and started jerking. He stayed in it for a couple of minutes, but he just would not sit down. Instead, he turned around in circles. He's done this before, but I they have been progressively getting shorter. Perhaps he's having a growth spurt or something.

Anywho, supper was a green salad w/chicken & ranch dressing. Had some smoked almonds for a snack.
