208.5...still moving down slowly. Happy with progress. Once again, I notice that I haven't been taking in enough water. Need to focus on that more.

206.5 lbs. It was pretty sudden, I wonder if the scale is reading right. I'll change the battery.

Holding at 206.5 lbs. Going on a cruise, we'll see what the ol' scale has to say upon my return!

The ol' scale said 213.5 lbs. upon my return from the cruise on Thursday, 8/06/09. But, I got right back on LC and dropped below 210 this morning (saturday). Let's see how ling it takes to get back to 206.5, then continue on down below 200!

BTW, during the 7 day LC suspension, I ate a lot of food and a lot of variety with the only consideration being to kind of limit the fat intake.

207.0 lbs, today. Bouncing back from a glorious off-plan cruise. I'd have to conclude that it was well worth it to take 7 days during vacation and enjoy the convenience of eating what was available.

Now I'm back on a strict LC regimen. Yesterday, I took my wife to the emergency room due to her severe asthma. She is stable, but it will take a few days in the hospital for her to recover her breathing, apparently she may have gotten an upper respiratory infection on the cruise. During these times (with her in the hospital) I have to be especially focused on planning and preparing for LC meals since I don't have her wonderful support...and then I take on the house and kids as well. This is where I sometimes get sidetracked off LC, but not this time! I will take extra time to make good choices and to plan what to eat in advance.

I have updated my signature to reflect a new starting point following the cruise. I want to lose another 10 pounds in two months. It would be very significant, since I haven't been below 200 lbs. for many years (15?). But not just losing the fat, I will continue my workouts at least 3 days per week to keep up, and improve, muscle mass. Typically, I split my workouts into pushing (chest, shoulder, triceps, abs) and pulling (back, biceps, abs) which last about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

207 lbs., good day of LC eating and water. Visited DW in hospital after taking son to a doctor appt. She is comfortable, bored, but recovering slower than expected. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year for us here is Charlotte at 97F. Pretty humid, too.
