    Weight: 198.2 BF 45.5%

Weight is down another pound, but body fat is up.... it means my water intake has been too low.... goal: to drink 12 eight ounce glasses today...

Thx for visiting Rob - you'll be in Onederland in no time!!! You've already come so far, and you have truly motivated me on more than one occasion to get to the gym and keep moving, so I thank you for that.

Off to take DD to the gym for Gymboree... Have a Fantastic Weekend Everyone!

Howdy Niki, I have been by and visited, but havn't left comments, and you have come by mine ... so decided to just say, you are doing great, keep it up, and thanks for all your encouragement. ... made it to day 29 of no sugar and feeling better about it every day... every day it seems like someone has to bring food in and leave in the kitchen at work,.... today there are genuine sweedish ginger snaps... I know they are probably not very much (almost paper thin) but one wouldn't be enough, i would have to have 10 or more... so I am ignoring them...I brought taco meat for lunch (taco salad with a few flax seed chips) and not sure what dh will make for dinner.... hopefully maybe a roast - hadnt had that for a while....

I have been good about getting at least 4 days in the gym....sat and sunday I got 2 hours each, but I need to ramp that up a little....

    keep on keeping on...

    later gater.

Hey J!!! I know, I've totally been MIA.... just with the fact that I'm working on the separation with H, plus my work, daughter, home, biz, weight,..... have lost track of my postings here.

Life is good, I'm still in the ONEderland today, which is awesome! I'm hoping to end March with a bang and lose another 10!

Separation is going surprisingly well, My H and I have been very amicable, and we're working on getting him out for April 1st. He has a place, and we're just working out the paperwork. We both agree that lawyers will just complicate things, so we're going to try to do this all like grown ups and no fighting, especially for our DD.

I have some furniture coming next week, so I want to try to get a coat of paint over the whole house.

I have still been having lunch with my cutie pie from work, but we are just keeping it at the friendship level, even though we both have crushes on each other. He doesn't want to be the cheating husband, and I respect him for that, but we love each other's company, so we're just being great friends. He's been a great source of support and encouragement for me during a time in my life that could be more trialsome than it has been. So all is good there.

I'm hoping to do a 5K in April, it is one where you are allowed strollers, so that I can bring DD with me. Looking forward to that!

The one thing that I haven't been focusing on lately is my other business. I really want to make a go of it, but because I don't have a private moment during the day, this has been hard. I need a new strategy!

So, that's the latest and greatest! This weekend should be full of moving boxes around, clearing out the main floor area, so that I can give it all a coat of paint before next week. That will probably be my exercise, although I'll try to jump on my bike and do some toning exercises with my exer-ball and tension band too.

So, I'll try to touch base throughout the wkend, but if not, then hope y'all have a great wkend!!!

Good morning all.... I've been moving garbage from the basement up to the main floor, thinking that this was going to be my source of exercise today too, so I'm trying to push it so as to keep my heart rate up, but my herniated disc doesn't like this type of "cardio", so I'm taking a breather... Maybe I'm just going to have to do speed laundering instead

Going to carb detox today, and get back into induction. Time for some eggs for lunch... and lots of water.

It snowed overnight, so I have some shovelling to do too.

Tonight I'm going to treat myself to a manicure!

Ooooh, a manicure. After all that hard work today you need to do something special for yourself. Doing something to pretty yourself up is a wonderful choice!

Thanks Rob! Its all what you put into it, right?

Tonight right after work I immediately changed into my running gear, and went for a long run along Lake Ontario. It lasted an hour and 15 minutes. Boy, it was great! I love running, because I crank up the tunes, but I actually have full-out conversations with myself - stuff I'd like to say to people, but don't know if I'll ever have the chance or the nerve to say what I really feel like saying. The good thing about it is that when I do have the chance, I've practiced so the words come out all right.

anyways, I went for this great run, then I come home and my husband had brought KFC home.... Oh man!!! I couldn't resist... I tried to keep the portion small, but all that grease into my empty tummy after an amazing run feels gross! So, hopefully tomorrow I can do it again, just without the yucky food...

KFC - aka, "dirty bird".... ah yes, well that was yesterday... today was a good day, did another fantastic run - about 1 hr 20 min today! had a big salad for dinner and a bottle of water. Feel great!

had dim sum for lunch, bbq pork, just a few vermicelli noodles... pretty low carb.

gonna go to bed now so that I dont get tempted to eat.... good night!

    Good start to the day!!!

Went for an hour run. Feel great!

Weight is at 197.6 - all-time low for 2007!!! If I stay on induction, I could be in the 180s by April 1st!!!

I've decided to sell my house. Because of the divorce, I'm just not going to be able to carry all the costs of running this home, plus it needs about $80K in renos because H gutted pretty much every room, and never put anything back. So, we've decided to sell next month, and I'm going to buy a 2bd condo (waterfront!) for me and DD. I'm really excited about this! It will simplify my life so I have more time to focus on my health and my DD. otherwise, I was looking at having to probably work a second job at a bar just to pay my mortgage. Life's too short to be a slave to your home.

So, I'm pretty psyched because literally within a few months, I could be in a brand new place, fresh start, new everything, gorgeous view of Lake Ontario, and be able to have friends over for dinner parties, take DD downstairs to the pool or activity room, walk along the lakeshore, walk to her daycare and my work.... My life just keeps getting better and better. Tomorrow I'm going to walk around the neighbourhood that I'm thinking of, to see if I'd really like living there.

Also new this week.... I went for lunch with an old friend.... he's an investment banker at a boutique bank in Toronto. Anyways, they need to hire someone to not only be their Office Manager, but also spearhead the Syndication Department. They would want me to take a course that gives me a PDO designation, which is Partners, Directors and Officers Program. I would be one of four people in the firm that have signing authority in the company. For me, this is HUGE!!! Right now, as the exec. assistant to the CEO, I make good money, but I'm pretty much at the cap of my income. If I got this job, not only would I be making more than I do now, but this would be the bottom of the ladder for me, and I could quadruple my income within 5 years. Plus get shares / options in the company. I am praying that my friend comes through for me and can get me in. I know the CEO of this company, and we get along great, so its up to my friend to pitch me, and we'll see where it goes.

So, this has been a tremendous week for me!!!

I was telling my friend that, ever since I made the decision to leave my H, wonderful, unexpected surprises just keep flowing into my life. Job opportunities, housing solutions, new vehicle, loving and caring people...... I described it like a clogged sink.... for the last 5+ years, my sink has been clogged, but once I poured a bottle of Draino down it and got that big ball of hair (H) flushed out, amazing things started flowing into my life. That is the true manifestation of what happens when you have such a powerful negative energy in your life - it blocks all the goodness you deserve, no matter how hard you try. I knew 2007 was going to be a great year, and we haven't even finished March!!!!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
