Hi Kameron!! Babysteps are needed in changing our lifestyle in each area don't you think? Each day maybe you could put away 10 things and throw 10 things? I've also in a pinch of time just done a room in the house 15 minutes then moved on to the next room to do the same. You'd be amazed at what you can get done in 15 minutes.

**Decluttering away today! Got through the games, coloring books, crayons that were in youngest closet. Also went through tupperware and cleaning supplies. Then it got me motivated to scrub the bathroom down. I also scrubbed the kitchen floor. Whew! **

Since I didn't get upper body training in (traded it in for a nice walk to the grocery store for healthy items) I'll do that today. Also plan on getting in my 30 minutes of elliptical training. Nothing on the tv tonight so want to keep busy to stay away from wanting to just much. Probably end up taking a bath in my nice clean bath tonight too.

Heather - Okay first Gee Now You! Good going. I look at my clutter and just want to go back to bed. I'll have to try that 15 minute trick.
    have a great day!

Heather, you're so right about clutter making you feel bad, and getting rid of junk is so liberating. I really need to cull out a lot of clothes I never wear. They still fit, but I don't like how they fit, or never wear them for one reason or another. I'm going to start shoving them into bags or boxes, haul them to charity, and be done with them. Shoes, too. If I don't wear them, I need to get rid of them! (It's harder parting with knick-knacks given to you by your kids & grandkids, though!) (And books. They are like old friends, too hard to part with, but I'll find them a good home.)

I think we all need to have a giant yard sale, just to get rid of stuff. Perhaps we should all set aside the same day and have a giant LCE yard sale. No one posts that day - we'll be too busy!

I love yard sales!!! That must be why I have so much clutter.

I just figured out how to do the spell checker on my computer. What a neat tool! This laptop is too cool.

    Heather,
Remember I am in Iraq so I don't have a lot of stuff. I was just taking advantage of the fact that I don't have the family to clean up after. I was just throwing my junk anywhere during the week, closing my privacy curtain and calling it a day. I would normally clean on Sunday's but this week I didn't. All I have to do is put everything away once I use it, the space I have is not big enough to keep everything out. You all are right I do feel better! So now I just have to make it through today, eating wise, and complete the goals I set for myself in my journal. ONE MEAL AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME!
    Kameron

I hope you have a nice clean eating day Kameron! Btw, thank you for serving this country. Are you aloud to tell me if it's scary where you are at? I'm a wimp and could never do what you do. I really admire you.

Making an appointment this morning. Seems like my spurts of energy are coming and falling fast. For a few hours I regain energy and of course run to clean or exercise. The next few it is all I can do to keep my eyes opened. Doesn't seem to remain level. There is a difference between being tired to wanting to stay in bed. Despite my getting plenty of sleep I'm still groggy this morning. I even treated myself to a nice cup of coffee. The other day I was quite dizzy and had to call my parents to pick up my son from school. I woke up this morning with a 7 pound gain on the scale and my abdomen swollen something awful. It'll flatten down wonderfully one day and then just balloon up the next. I'm sure there is nothing wrong but incase there is I don't want more trouble on my weightloss journey then normal ya know?

Heather, be careful with the spell checker! It'll tell you a word is ok, when it's not! Here's a poem that's been circulating for quite a few years:

This Poem Has Been Spell Checked

    Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me stait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
    Its rare lea ever wrong.
Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
    My chequer tolled me sew.

Heather, you have me worried. Let us know what the doc says. The vertigo is scary enough, but the swollen abdomen and the sudden gain, and the swings in energy - just make sure to keep that appointment!

You know, I had a great post earlier that got lost. Weird. Lost in Internet land somewhere.

Thought that poem was so funny! I'll be sure to watch over the spell checker. I just need to remember to use it.

Took a nap but still not sure if I have energy to do my lower body weight training or elliptical today. We'll see after I come home from church since I can sleep until 7am.

Thanks Rob, I'll be heading to the doc tomorrow to see what's up with this body.

Tomorrow we're having an energy audit. Never had one of those before but the landlord and energy company guy/gal will be here. We don't have to pay for our energy thankfully and our rent goes by our income so maybe they'll make sure we're not misusing them? Not to worried but I'll make sure the place looks good and smells good too. I like to burn my liquid potpourri or a nice candle when company comes. Has to smell like cookies or spices. I think it just feels so homey to come to some one's house with wonderful smells in the air.

Heather, in subsidized housing there has to be a review of the utility allowances from time to time, and this may be something similar.

Now, the candles to make the apartment smell good is a nice touch, and it's sweet of you to think of it.
