you are an inspiration....thanks for your encouragements over the last year or so, I am making a promise to myself to be better at my workouts and food intakes this year....you will get those abs you want all you have to do is keep working on it....

fyi, SSS bath oil (16 oz bottle) is on sale for 6.99, (tell you avon lady you want the c1 sale price)

I am in the pool so much that I rarely sit in the tub any more, but I used to love to relax in a long hot tub, grab a drink, a smoke, and a book and just shut the door and ....oh .... calgon take me away.... come out in an hour or so, (keep putting in more and more hot water)lol

anyway, heres to a great year ahead...

Heya Heather - love the bath! I mostly have take baths - they are perfect for de-stressing. DS bought lavender and rose bath crystals and I love my new bathroom - the bath is the perfect size for me! H'm'm' - on the cheats - nah - wouldn't work for me I don't think. Too punitive for this rebellious soul! I'm with QM - I'd just hand over the 5 bucks in the beginning!

Rob - Thanks! Have a great day too!

Nita - yeah, could never lie to my baby sister. Have to set a good example and all for her . It would be to easy to cheat and hand over $5 so we chose to buy something the day of the cheat and then deliver it the next day. What a way to keep us on track!

Lisa - My DH was going to join me this New Years but doesn?t want to change any habits. Says that the reason that he isn?t losing weight is because he isn?t eating enough. Might be ? the case but I think it?s his choices that he eats 2x a day help him with this too. I?m eating a lot of lower cal/carb foods but he is eating a few times a day of really high calorie foods ya know...he?ll get it. He is just stubborn and set in his way. Husbands!

Carolyn - Hi!! Thanks for the avon tip! I heard today that avon carries a chocolate bubble bath scent. Wowee!! And we?ll just keep getting more focused with our workouts and eating until one day it becomes second nature.

Hi ya Foxie! The bath water is covering me now. When I was at my highest weight I not only wasn?t covered like I wished but my dh had to help me get out of the bathtub like I was still pregnant. I felt like a whale with my belly sticking up so high. Now I can relax like I?ve always dreamed of.

Heather. I doubt whether I would have fitted into my new bath at my old weight! Its a very small bath - but just right for me now. Although did notice 2 lbs up - gah - must get back to Curves as soon as I can. Too difficult this week with moving etc - and the next week is not shaping up well timewise either! Drat!

Hi Foxie, still struggling with the after holiday weight here. It sure is easy to put on. We'll get off the extra cushion. I know you will when life get's back to routine for you again. You know what to do and with your comment on curves, I see that exercise is a must to keep it off. Well, I'm still up in weight but according to the scale at LA Weightloss I have to lose 6 more pounds to get within goal weight range. I'll weigh in tomorrow morning to see what my scale says and go by that. It weighs in more but use it as my main tool because I won't be going to the weight loss center forever.

Well, wanting to go off plan but with my competition with my sister that will not do. Have to stay strong and I'll be happier for it! :jump:

Heather - I used to joke when I was 300+pounds that it saved me a bundle in bath water. Only need a half cup of water. That was about all the available "non-Rob" space there was. LOL HAve a great sunday!

Hope you are enjoying your Sunda Bluejay. That's a cool bet you have with your sister. It's not the $5 so much as the competition and bragging rights.

Hahaha Rob!! 1/2 cup of water? What a hoot!

Ophelia - Happy new year to you too!

Rob - That is so funny saving a bundle on water. I used to joke that while eating fast food that I was trying to keep up my feminine figure.

Lisa - Could have been Butte Montana! I?m in the middle - Great Falls. It?s sure beautiful here huh and that is why it?s nicknamed Big Sky Country.

Looks like little by little DH?s are coming around huh! :jump: I bet your DH would love Atkins since men always seem to be pretty good meat eaters.

Gregg - I?m thinking about saving any item that my sister might give me with the $5 for when she gets to her goal weight. Might be a nice thing to earn at the end. Hope of course she can just stay on plan. We have only a few cheat days and her first one is her birthday in April and then her vacation in June and then Thanksgiving, Christmas and then New Years Eve. Should be a great year on plan for us. If I keep on track I?ll only have 4 cheat days this year. Can you imagine? My body would be so thankful! We?ll see because it?s so hard sometimes.

Heather...that is a very sweet idea. I'm sure your sister would be very touched by such a gesture!

Thanks Vickie! Hope that you have a good day! I'm off now, talk later. Busy day ahead of me for this housewife. Lately it seems like I'm not in the house all that much but I've been blessed with being able to get chores done still. Nice!

I like to think of a housewife as the Managing Director of Domestic Affairs - it truly is a full-time executive job! My boss' wife actually has her own assistant to help her manage the home and their travels and their three kids and their investments and philanthropic efforts, etc. Whew! Let's face it - women are superstars!

Happy Monday!
