I'm using the Blog section now. Interesting. Not sure whether to post up stuff here or there.
I weighed myself this morning. I have been avoiding the "truth-teller" It surely told be the cold, hard truth. I weighed in at 242. That nearly 1/2 way back to my old weight. NOT GOOD AT ALL!
I was very good on eating yesterday. All LC including a movie sans popcorn or soda.
Today so far is a Protein Shake and I have my gym stuff for a trip there tonight.
I'm reading thru my 1972 DADR to get reconnected.

Tom, I really like the 1972 version of Atkins. It's so simple. Perhaps I'll peruse my copy, too. There used to be a thread for following this version - it might be time to resurrect it, if we can get enough interest in it. It's what worked for me the first time I did low carb seriously, and it was quite painless. But, then, I was a lot younger, too........

I read thru the 1972 version of Atkins yesterday. Hmmm. I'll post up my thoughts in my blog.
Made it to the gym last night. Had a wonderful W/O. Got home and Liz had made a big old salad for me. It looked great! Then I had to explain to her about Induction again... Heavy on the meat and cheese, light on the salad. We were just a wee bit off to the salad side. It did have cheddar cheese and trukey on it. After that lots and lots of salad stuff not on the induction list. I praised her for how much she had done for me. Then I explained the basics of induction, for me. She will remember it in the future.

It is bloody cold here. Well cold for us. I came home from the gym at 7pm and my truck looked really strange. TJ had hosed off the truck after working in the yard. It was covered in ice. At only 7pm.
He and I are going out to the desert, riding tomorrow morning. We have to meet the BLM for work on our race course. I will be sure to dress warm.

Had a great day riding with TJ yesterday. It was chilly, but not too cold. I slipped on my LC eating. I posted up about it in my Blog.

Today is another day. Back to square one again. Never give up. Never quit!
I guess today will be spend playing mechanic on my truck. Just last week I got the truck emission tested. Whew, I'm sure glad it passed. This weekend it appears that it dropped a cylinder. With a little 6cyl it doesn't have much power to spare. I will give it a tune-up and replace whater it takes. I have to have it running by next weekend. Friday night headed to Parker, AZ for a big bike race. Then Saturday night going over to LA. Spending the night at my friends place and on Sunday picking up my latest car project. and towing it home.

Cyndi is over for a visit. Her and Liz are in and out of the house talking and smoking outside. That is one addicition that I will never understand. To stand outside in a blizzard (not here) to smoke is unimaginable for me. I just accept that it is.

It is about time to take Liz to breakfast. Oh yes it will be full LC. I'm having a taste for a Ham & Cheddar & Jalapeno Omel.
I have a 4-day weekend this week.

My last 2007 post. I'll start a new journal tomorrow.
Today I researched and found that my start date for Atkins was 9/1/2002.
Wow, I have been doing LC for over 5 years. I looked at my old journal and figured out that I've gained 42 pounds back since 2004.

Today Has been very LC friendly. Breakfast was Ham & cheese omelet w/ cottage cheese. Lunch was stealing some bacon as Liz was precooking it for me on the George Foreman Grille. Now Dinner is waiting for me while post up here. Chicken, salad w/cheese.

I was 239 this morning. I'm noticing the usual constapation issues from induction. The shall pass.

See you all next year!
