I did it. I lost 4 lbs! I am so relieved you dont even know. I am very happy today. How I dreaded standing on that scale. I had to get off and then back on a couple of times just to be sure. For the past 3 days, I have been sticking to plan like a trooper and it has paid off. Not that I wasn't before, but I think the difference has been that I havent been hungry. Or thinking about food in between meals. I am so guilty of that.

What do you know? It's Monday and I'm not miserable~haha!

HOWEVER............I have to take Sydney back to the Dr.'s today. This ear infection is a stubborn one. We have been giving her the prescrip. just as prescribed and on time and it is not going away. I'm very worried that her ear drum will rupture or something and they are going to have to give her something stronger! I am so mad/scared about this! Not only about having to go back, but that she is missing more school~UGH!! So anyhoo, it has been a long night but we will get through it, what choice do we have?

Sorry to hear about Sydney's ear infection but hopefully the doctor will prescribe something that will do just the trick!

Great job on those 4 pounds!! I'm off the scale until Saturday after a few days of bad food. Scared what the damage will be.

Hey Bigfoot did you get those legs shaved?

Yes, as it happens I did shave my legs hahahahahah...! It wasnt pretty either...

So the verdict on Sydney's ear. She now has an outer ear infection to go along with her inner ear infection. They prescribed drops that she has to have 3 times a day, but after just one application, she is already so much better~phew!

I will give it until next Monday to weigh in again. Things are looking up...~!

OK, 2 more pounds gone for a grand total of 6. I am such a spineless git, I couldnt stand it when I was in the bathroom this morning and on the scale I went. So much for waiting until next Monday! 44 lbs. to go, OR 4 more before my trip to Ft. Lauderdale on the 15th of May. 10 lbs. was my goal for my birthday and if things keep going this way I should make it.

Sydney is home today, she will be going to school tomorrow. She has improved loads. My Mom wants to come and get us this afternoon, she wants to take me to Searsport which happens to be the antique capitol of the world. There is a coppersmith there who makes weathervanes and she said I could pick one out and she wants to buy it for my birthday~! I have to tell you, I have been eyeing that leaping pig for years! He reminds me so much of Wilbur from Charlottes Web. My husband is building me a garden/potting shed and he has agreed to build me a coppola to go with the weathervane. All in all, it should be completed by the middle of June~unless he takes some of his vacation time to hurry it along. Believe me, I will be pushing that idea.

I hope your daughter is feeling better. I'm a firm believer in pushing Vitamin C for infections. It not only helps fight infection, but I read somewhere once that it makes your medicines work better, too. (Whether that's right or not, I really don't know, but it does help you fight infection.)

WTG on losing all that weight! I'm proud of you!

Yeay! Sydney is all better and back at school~phew! THAT was a long week and a half I will tell you.

One week until I go to Ft. Lauderdale for my birthday.....I'm hoping to meet that 10 pound mark by then~keeping my fingers crossed. Kevin is taking 3 days off work while I'm gone, he is so good. We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary yesterday. We had lots of family and friends over for a BBQ, the weather was nice and we had a fire in the outdoor fireplace because the breeze was quite chilly. We had a really good time. We are taking the kiddos to see Spiderman tonight. I'm looking forward to that.

Todays goal: Drink lots of water!

Thanks Stephanie, it seems you are well on your way! You are doing great AND you are an inspiration to me. I love being able to visit my journal and get this awesome encouragement. I have not gotten on the scale again. I had planned on Monday so I am going to stick to that plan...

Today I have got to find a bathing suit. UGH.......Of all the things to have to spend money on I hate shopping for bathing suits!!!

Kristen, belated Happy Anniversary! I hope you had a good one.

Hope you find a bathing suit you like. Even if I could swim (I can't, never learned how, deathly afraid of the water), I wouldn't be caught dead in a bathing suit. Not now, anyway. And by the time I get all this weight off, I'll be really old, and then NOBODY would want to see me in one! LOL!

Keep up the hard work, you're doing great.

I'm hoping to be able to take the boys to Spider-man this weekend.

Hope you find a bathing suit that you feel comfortable in. I have to get ones with a skirt because I have horrible thighs. The plus is that there is a bathing suit to hide anything. Maybe I should wear one of those diving suits ?

I'm back and I had a GREAT time in Ft. Lauderdale. I never did wear the bathing suit. I put it on, looked in the mirror and took it back off. NO WAY was I going to wear that waste of 40 bucks~no way no how!!!!!! I compromised by wearing my sisters tank top and my shorts. Lucky I put a tank top on, I just completely hate my flabby big fat horrible arms! Now that they are tanned, I can wear short sleeves but I dont have to like it. That's just how I feel. SO...........back to reality!
Apparently it has been raining here non-stop. Today is the first time we have seen sun since last Tuesday. The lawn is way out of control and I have got to mow it today if it dries out long enough. The pumpking patch is 75% finished. I am going to Home Depot on Wed to pick up a pallet of manure, lime and peat moss to till into it and then it should be ready for planting by memorial day weekend, that's my plan. I'm excited, I've never had a big ole' pumpkin patch before. I am an Autumn girl, it has always been my favorite season, hands down.

I'm going to force feed myself water all day long and get this yard work done.

Hey Kristen, welcome back and glad you had a good time in Ft. Lauderdale. Just the name of that town makes ya smile.

Have fun in outside.
