Hard to believe that I havent posted here since May 25!! This is an extremely busy time of year with the kiddos and the garden demanding so much of my time. I have to admit, the woe is not going so well. I think I am going to start over again! I have been making poor choices to be honest since I got home at my birthday, mid-May. I have been VERY active, just havent been eating right. I am ready to start fresh. The kids have one more full week of school and then they are off for the summer. Brice, my 16 yo son is heading to Florida with a close friends family for 2 weeks. He will be coming home on the 5th of July. He has never been away from home for that long, he is phsyched but I am a big ball of sad! I'm gonna miss that little bugger so much! And in the midst of this my daughter's 10th birthday party is a week from tomorrow and I'm ready to rip my hair out~just the thought of 25 10 year olds running from the pool to the X-box to play Guitar Hero has me ready to rip my hair out in big chunks. .............I keep telling myself- one day at a time......... I know I'm just whining. I have a great big family who helps me out, I'm very lucky to say!

The highlight of my week was my daughters picture splashed through the Maine magazine Bangor Metro. She has grown her hair for the last 18 mos. to donate to the Locks of Love-(which makes custom hairpieces for children who experience hairloss due to illness and disease) I am so proud of her and I ran around buying all the issues I could find. She will be having it cut off at a fund raising gala in September, so this little article was about how she is doing it and the picture is so fantastic. It shows her hanging upside down and her hair looks 2 feet long. Enough about the kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, how I do go on...................wish me luck starting over!

Good Luck Kristen! You sound as busy as I am with the kiddos. How on earth are you getting 25 kids to come? It is so hard in this little town to do birthday parties..home parties are a bust..they either want to skate, bowl, or something of that sorts. Good luck with the party...and thinking back on when my 18 yr. old went to disney world..her first time being away...she calls me one night..I said Staci..I miss you so much..hope you are having fun. Her reply..oh its great mom, but I do miss Jables (our dog) Hey...what about mom? lol...anyways your daughter is doing a very wonderful thing in donating
to Locks of Love..I hear this charity does wonders!!
You have a great evening!
