    Post Phinixis is Reborn Again

Hello all, I am back and been posting and lurking around for the last 9 days or so and now I figure I will start a new journal and here I can post my progress and everthing else. I missed all you guys and all your support I am so glad that this board is here it is like a little LC family and I do adore you all so much. So here it goes I will post what has been going on for the last 9 days.

Started LC again with new hope. I was sitting around one day, unhappy with my currrent weight and finding it hard to go out in public ( I know it's bad) None of my clothes fit me and I was felling crappy as well, stomach hurting every morning and tired all day. So I thought to myself in my wallowing...when is it going to stop, now I have 30 lbs around to loose if I keep on it's going to be 40..50..60..or more so I have to stop now. So I had my last hurrah meal and then started over my life anew with hope and determination. I lost 30lbs last time I was here in an astonishing 2 months and then I ate cake to reward myself...good one. This led to more treats and next I knew it was back to the old me lazy, overweight and unhappy.

So I started to write my food journal everyday, cook my food once weekly in the big cookoff I have and then freeze them for convienice in dinner size tupperware. I started to go for walks and yoga on the dvd I bought. I am starting a new job on April 30 which will be good for a new regular schedual unlike the one I have now which is a whole lot of nothing.

So here I am I have been on track for 9 days religiously on induction, down 5 lbs and feeling much better. I will keep you all posted and it's nice to be back.

    P.S.

I posted a new pic of me and my little kitty in the member photos and in my profile if any of you wonder what I look like... I always like to put a face to a name.

Hey, I saw your pic and no wonder why you quote the movie "Kll Bill Vol. 2"... You look a bit like Uma Thurman, if you ask me! Anyway, 5 lbs is great! I'm going on week 3 and that's my total! It's discouraging but every little bit helps and I need to be more strict from now on.
Phinixis may be reborn but Cinderella feels like an ugly stepsister lately, but with the help and support of the members of this site, we will all immerge victorious!!
    Good luck on your journey!

Thanks Girls!! I know if we all stick together things will work out better. Thanks Cinderella for the great comment, I love Uma. And I love the Kill Bill series they are my favorite movies, I love how strong Uma's character is, you go girl....lol. Nice to hear from you too Heather I was looking at your before and after and it is so inspiring keep up the great work!!!

So here is the rest of my day so far, I did go walking on the treadmill for 20 min or so and then 30min outside when the rain stopped. Then.........lol crashed and burned and napped the rest of the day away with the cat in bed. My Ketosis strips are testing burgundy so I know I am in the right direction.

Thanks for the support and I will keep you posted...

    Pedometer results:
    Walking total: 3 km

    Default Phinixis is Reborn Again

Okay so here we are day 10 for me. I posted my new goal today at the bottom of my signature for 130 at 30. I think it is attainable if I keep up all the walking that I have been doing the last few days. I never relized how much I enjoy it. I was so used to labouring away on the treadmill and being bored, so now I love outside especially since it is getting warmer out. I have reserved the treadmill for truly horrid days and then I think that it won't bore me so much. Nothing really new to report today, was faithfull to induction, went for a walk 2x and tested burgundy on ketostix. So everything is on plan.

However if anyone has any tips on this awful ketosis breath let me know. It was so bad I could't stand myself today. I am going to search the board, I am sure I am not the only one....lol. Talk to you later.

    Pedometer results:
    Walking total: 5.12 km
    Time: 1 hr 10 min

My favorite tool is a tongue scraper for bad breath. I've heard that swishing the mouth out with salt water helps but I've never tried that one.

I'm not to far away from you here in Montana and am really enjoying this walking weather too.

So here we are Sunday, Still on track. Did my weekly cook-a-thon tonight for theweek so thats all good. However, I am starting to hate this city. I went for a walk tonight minding my own business and when I am looking around I see this red car with these teens in it.

The one kid leans out the window and was getting ready to throw a huge slushie at me!!! I saw him wind up as I then flipped the bird to him with some explict language and then ran out of his lame handed throw that a little girl could have done better. Then they drove off.

The rest of my walk I was constantly looking behind me to make sure I wasn't going to get blindsided by another beverage. So therefore wrecked the peacefulness of my walk and then I was just angry the whole way home.

I mean leave people alone, this is why people die when idots think it is fun to throw things , not that a slushie would kill me, but a pumpkin off an overpass might. Anyway finished my walk was the main thing, and I start my new job tomorrow so I won;t be on as often at first but I will kepp posting everynight if I can. Okay, whew!!That was alot. See you guys tomorrow.

    Pedometer results:
    Walking total: 3.35 km
    Time: 50 min

Oh Man! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I would feel so violated and yes, pissed off! Living in the city has it's good points, but as far as walking goes...I would love being in the country away from the low lifes and crazies! Hang in there and good luck with the new job! Peace out!

I did not loose anything all last week and am really frustrated but will keep plugging away and hope for the best.
