Default Gennnny's Journnnnal

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new here on this board and you may have seen a few of my posts in the newbies forum. Check in there to get the low-down on me.

So right now I weigh about 160 lbs (it's that time of the month for me, and my goal for monday is 158 lbs, but I think I will be waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday to weigh myself as I feel like a bloated walrus at the moment lol) By the way, I'm 5'6" if that is of any interest to anyone!

Today is a bad day to start this journal seeing as I only had about a tablespoon of mock cheesecake (cream cheese and sugar-free jell-o) this morning rushing out the door for work, and picked up a pepperoni and cheese stick from 7-11 while grabbing my boss some coffee!

Today so far I've eaten
1 Tb mock cheesecake
1 SlimJim Pepperoni stick
1 SlimJim Cheese stick
16 oz Black tea
1 packet Splenda

For lunch I am planning on having:
6 oz white tuna (in water)
2 Tb mayo
2 small salad cucumbers

For dinner I know it will involve chicken, swiss cheese, and asparagus, I'm just not sure in what order lol...

My boyfriend is cooking dinner for me tonight, and he knows I'm doing the low carb thing and definitely supports me. He told me that since I always cook for him that he wants to cook for me for once because "It's nice to have a meal made for you." Haha... he's so cute, how did I get so lucky??

Anyway!!

Tonight is a gym night alhough I'm not sure how it will go considering I have some serious pain today from you-know-who coming to visit. I will just have to take some ibuprofen and suck it up, I suppose.

I have been working out 4-5 times a week pretty religiously for the past few weeks and I'm really starting to see and feel a difference. I feel stronger and healthier and have been sleeping better, also.

My workout usually consists of:
3-4 miles cardio (45 minutes, sometimes more if I'm slow)
mild weight training (15 minutes)
or
2 miles cardio (about 15-20 minutes)
moderate weight training (30 minutes)

Ok enough blabbing for right now, I need to get back to work!!
