Good morning Shelley...I agree with the others in hoping that you aren't having a migraine. I suffered with them for years until I had my ovaries removed (for a different problem). I have not had a single one since my surgery. My heart goes out to anyone who suffers with headaches! I hope you're feeling better today

Hey Bren, Lisa, SistaSue and Vic!
Thanks for the *feel betters*
The headache pretty much went away after dinner, but the peripheral vision disturbance had me pretty stressed. Yikes! Wonky vision is a bummer.
Better today; just an occasional little floater or star in the peripheral rim of the L eye.

Had to go in search of yarn for DD this morning. When she was here for Christmas, she started her new BF an afghan. She decided to go bigger with it, so she needed about 5 more skeins. None to be had in the same color at her places in LA. So, luck would have it, I was able to get 5 more skeins(it took going to 2 stores) that had all matching lot #s!!! wOOt!

Still think I'm having some yucky induction stuff...but hanging tuff with NO SUGAR!!! Hoping today will be the end of the yuck stuff.
Trying to get in more water today. Ketostix are still negative, but I'm not surprised.

alrighty then...

Shelley _ I wasn't kidding when I said I'd make a folder for Kassie's pictures. It's called Shelleyscatkassie.
I think that's true of dogs too. To a good degree you shape their personalities by the way you treat them. Kassie should turn out to be one amazing cat.

You are doing great Shelley, hang tough - you know it's worth it. I'm currently trying to give up coffee. Sugar and coffee sure are addictive aren't they? I was downright grumpy this morning.

Shelley, hope the headache is history. I hate those visual effects! So annoying.

LOL Rob! Really??? Well, you may get sick of seeing pics of her. I'm trying to get pics at least once a week to see how fast she's growing. I'm making her a *baby book* on my computer! Then, I may do a scrap book at some point. Hey...I have no kids or g-kids at home, so she's my only *baby*...hehe!

Hi to Heather and Nita and SistaSue!
headache and visual stuff is all gone...yay! I may ask my IM Dr about getting an MRI of the head next month though. some other weird symptoms I would like checked out as well. The older I get, the more squeaks, rattles, snaps, crackles and pops occur...in the joints and other places! har! Yep...old(er) ain't funner!

off to start dinner...oven fried pork loin chops and mashed fauxtatoes. works for me!

alrighty then...

Shelley _ not gonna get sick of her pictures. My folder for my furballs has about 400 pictures. What did you use to coat the pork chops. I miss shake n' bake. LOL

Have a great week!

Rob...I left you a note in your journal about the pork chops

Well...how bad am I????
The gym didn't happen; nor did the biking. My left elbow started aching this morning after I got out of the shower. Dang. It's been pesky for a few days, so I don't think I need to do weights right now. I could've done the bikes at the gym, but I'm not feelin' the love for it. I can't bring myself to go to the gym where snotty, coughing, sneezing rude folks are. Geeeze, people!!...if you're freakin' sick, then STAY HOME!!!

Wind is horrific again today...blah.
Didn't go to the grocery either.
My trip to the post office ended up being the trip from heJJ, so I have totally retreated to the confines of my little world today. So there! LOL!

Tomorrow is another day...well, Scarlet said so...

alrighty then...

Sista, I made a mad dash to SWM and then to the lab. I think everybody was at SWM buying paper towels, bath tissue and everything else household related. Then, a long wait at the lab which is unusual. Glad I'm back home, still have plenty to keep me busy here. This old bod is stiff and sore today, don't know how much more I'll try to accomplish. We'll see...

One thing I'll have to do is fix dinner for me and the boys. Then, if I'm still up to it make chicken salad.

Warm and windy here today, too.

sistaSue,
I hear ya on the just glad to be home thang! LOL!
Hope you have a good evening and get some rest.

DD called this evening. I finally remembered to ask about the tooth fairy's visit(DGS lost a tooth on the flight home to LA!). Anyhoo...DD said DGS decided to *forfeit* the toothfairy monies in the name of science...LOL.
He wanted to let the tooth set in cola to see if the acid really did eat away tooth enamel! We may have a little scientest in the making...or better yet, a dentist! Now that would help ole Nonney out about 20 years down the road when I'll probably be needing some major dental work!!...LOL! Who knows???...

OK...just a lazy evening for me. Plan on grocery shopping first thing in the morning. Have a cuppa, then get my rear in gear....

alrighty then...
