Sus- I was thinking about you and your busy time. Hope all went well and am looking forward to hearing about it!

I was also thinking about that groomer that you're not sure how to approach about Oz's soreness. I wonder if you perhaps asked her for "her advice," if that might help...I assume she likes animals or wouldn't be a groomer, and she probably has some that are simply uncooperative, so she's not really thinking that Oz may actually be in pain if he yelps or struggles a bit...but if you asked her for ideas about how to minimize his discomfort after grooming as a profesional groomer, you could let her know it's a problem without appearing critical, and it would probably help make her more mindful of her approach as well...just a thought, anyway...

How is he doing? Is he feeling better?

Anywho, just thinking of you and hope all is well in your world!

Hello my dear friends, it's been awhile since I've had the time to sit down and post an update. Sistashell, thanks a lot for keeping me bumped up.

I appreciate all of your kind remarks about our dear little Modie, he will always be a part of us for sure. A special little friend he was for many years. Mab, you're right about Modie's eyes, they truly reflected the kind, sweet soul he was.

Dixie, I am definitely going to have to figure something out about Ozzie's grooming sessions. I like your idea about how to approach his groomer. I think I'm going to order some curved scissors and do touch ups myself, just to cut down on the number of visits to the groomer, only because it's takes a week for Oz to get over it.

Graduation was very nice, the weather was absolutely beautiful. Our niece took a lot of pictures and maybe later in the week I will be able to post a few. The boys have moved their departure to Colorado back until tomorrow, just too tired from pulling some all nighters during finals week. It paid off though for both of them.

DH's mom hasn't been feeling well and was ordered to take a CAT scan, they actually thought she was presenting with symptoms of gallbladder or appendicitis. They discovered a nodule on one of her lungs. More tests are ordered for tomorrow. I'll be honest, it doesn't sound good. If the boys weren't leaving tomorrow I would go with Uncle D. to take mom for these tests, so I could be with them when they meet with the doctors. Please say prayers, send good thoughts, because outside of a miracle, I know too much after having worked in a surgery office for ten years.

I probably won't be on too much for the rest of the week. I have a lot going on with family. Have to work on Thursday to do payroll. Keep the light on for me.

SistaSue,
Glad you were able to check in and let us know whazzzup!
Gosh, hate hearing about your MIL. Sending good thoughts and prayers that the diagnosis won't be bad news.

Also sending good vibes for the boys to have a safe and fun road trip together. What a brotherly adventure!

I'm having some back issues again...sigh. I kinda vented in my journal, so......be forewarned if you visit...hehe! I'm NOT a happy camper right now ...well, you get the idea! Just hate it when the body wants to fall apart! GRRRRR!!!

Keep us posted, sweetie. Will be thinking about you and yours!
