Today went pretty well. Got in some nice 'me' time while everyone was at school and work. Worked out and did some cleaning even. Tomorrow the kids will be out again and DH and I will watch Beuwolf (sp?) since he has the day off. I "may" take the day off from exercise since I haven't in quite sometime. We'll see how I feel.

Women's Ass Size Study

There is a new study just released by the American Psychiatric
Association about women and how they feel about their asses

The results are pretty shocking:
1. Only 5% of women surveyed feel their ass is too big.

2. 10% of women surveyed feel their ass is too small.

3. The remaining 85% say they don't care; they love him; he's a good man and they would have married him anyway.

Haven't called in Jay from school since what, the 1st grade and now he is in 3rd? He woke up with a sore throat and a low grade (I believe it's called) temperature of 99.9. Good day for them to be sick since it started snowing outside. Both are home with temperatures and coughs so I'm letting them relax with cartoons. Laughing from cartoons must be good for sickness.

I'm coughing myself and plan on taking another day off from exercise.

Coughing STILL. Think I'll cough to death if I try to exercise so this makes 3 days? Yikes! Saying a prayer tomorrow with only a little over 2 weeks to go that the scale will be 137, or lower would be fantastic, so that I'll be able to be 133 or under by March 15th. As soon as I can get back to exercise I'm sure I'll be able to lose the last of this by goal date. Until then I'll drink hot lemon water to help flush my system, lots of water, high protein to keep hunger away, eat every 3 hours to keep my metabolism going and watch what I put in my mouth. Right now I'm tracking my calories to be around 1200 since I'm not exercising. Whatever it takes!

Heather, I hope your boys are feeling better today. I remember those days with sick kiddos, high fevers. All of it can be a bit overwhelming. Have a good weekend.

Thank you! I'm glad that the kids are feeling better but are coughing up junk now. I called us in from Sunday School tomorrow, since I teach, to make sure we don't pass this on. Still feeling tired today so not fully recovered. A class full of 2 & 3 years old would be to much right now.

I had a great weigh today. My sister was sweet and drove me since I was feeling weak. With only 2 weeks left on my LAWL plan she understood why I wanted to check out the scale. I weighed in at.....drum roll please.....135 pounds!! I have to be between 123 - 133 pounds by March 15th to be eligible for my rebate.

Heather - Good luck getting down at least 2 more pounds. That's easily done but you can't take it for grantes, as you well know. Have a good, pleasant and relaxing sunday!

Rob - Oh yes, as long as I stick to plan I just can't go wrong. Hoping with this sick break from exercise when I get back to it it'll shock those last few pounds right off. Staying positive!

Oh Spring, are you waiting for me to get better so I can come out play? Don't wait because a little warmth to air out this place would be grand.

It's so fun to be able to wear whatever I want in my closet now that I'm back where I want to be. Every few months I go through and keep all my absolute favorites. Then I go back to Salvation Army $3 bag sale and load up. During the weeks I wear them and end up bringing 1/2 of those back because of different reasons: Maybe something I feel is TO SEXY and would make me blush to wear, to short, to old looking, to young looking....for $3 I don't feel bad because if I get 1 shirt/pants/skirt/dress or whatever out of the bunch I still got a bargain. Plus I can feel like a movie star because you don't always see me in the same thing anymore. When I was 300 pounds I had one outfit that I wore every other day. It was washed a lot! Salvation Army has so many clothes in my size now. When I started losing weight and going there I was happy with a few items but now I can bring home a huge brown grocery bag. I roll my shirts and pants so tight so I can get a real deal with my $3. I hate clutter so I donate anything I get bored with. I'm just spoiled I know with my cheap shopping fun!

I love bargain hunting! I just got a bunch of stuff on clearance - catalog order. Can't wait to wear some of it.

Take care, Heather. This coughing does finally go away, but for a few days you wonder whether or not you're going to turn inside out just from coughing. At least it's good abdominal exercise.

Thank you for stopping by Rob and Nita!! It's slow but getting better. I can't believe this is week 2 of the bug. I haven't been sick for so long since I was in high school? I remember getting so skinny back then I weighed about 110 pounds and my mom said I didn't have a butt anymore - lol.

I've been lucky to only endure a few minutes of cramping, which almost brought me to tears, after all this coughing. Still coughing up junk which I know is good. Get out the junk!! The worst thing with being sick is I can't exercise. Aren't I just weird? Most people don't like to exercise but I know it's one of those things I need to do to feel good and keep the pounds off. I did increase my calories today to about 1500, rather then the 1200, since I have more energy. I'm hoping it will help to recover a bit faster with more fuel. At worst I'll maintain with this amount of calories which is okay for a "few days". 1 week and 5 days until final weigh in so can't risk to much right now.

Apartment is in order with 2 large vanilla candles burning waiting for the landlord to fix our closet. It was bad when we moved in but we babied that closet until it could take no more. Landlord knows we are good people and it's just normal wear and tear. I think he is going to fix a chip on our front door too. We've lived here for nearly 7 years. I only know of 1 lady who has been here longer in our section and she has been here 30 years. Wowee!

Today I'm feeling better. Seems to be going slow the getting well process. Woke up with a very dry sore throat and some coughing BUT the energy is coming back. So I'm doing some slow walking on my treadmill. Starting slow but so happy to be doing some sort of exercise again.

I'm listening to Georgia Satellites - Don't give me no lines and keep your hands to yourself. It is such a fun song. Always gets me wanting to dance.
