I know!! It's like being in labor. Once you have that precious treat you forget about all the pain it has put you through. lol

Dh is out of town...so, I got lots of things done last night. Changed the bedding, did up the government paperwork, made a couple of OMM, exercised, walked the dogs. After a hot bath I finally sat down to watch some tv. Dd showed up. She may have lost her job! Great! The place where she was working had a fire two weeks ago so she hasn't been working. They opened again on Monday but when she called they said come in Wednesday. She called last night to find out what time and they told her to come in any time they just wanted to talk to her. This place doesn't have a good reputation. They go through a lot of staff. Anyway, she was originally told that insurance would cover her lost wages. I'm wondering if they think they can scam her lost wages and let her go. More stress.

Darn...she just called. Job is gone. We live in a very small town and there just aren't a lot of jobs around. I know I'm going to end up paying her bills. Just what I needed.

That place that your dd worked at sounds like an awful lot of unreliable dishonest people. I pray this was the job she needed to bide her time before the perfect one came along. (((hugs)))

I'm betting you'll be getting this snow soon that just came in today. It knocked down power lines, tree limbs everywhere and electricity out for more then 5 hours. Love sharing pleasant news.

{{{{Donna}}}} Sigh, don't know what to say.

For your back, a chiropractor is the best thing if it's out. Next best thing is a good massage. And the next best thing is a soak in a hot bath (which you've done!) And then, you HAVE to destress! Wish I could tell you how, with all that's going on in your life. Just know that we are thinking about you, and care about what is happening in your life.

Heather: If you send us snow.....well, you'd better start running. I might be chubby, but I can run fast when I'm mad. lol

Tough love! I know how much you'd appreciate me later by burning all the calories it would take you to get from Canada to Montana. Dear God, please let it snow for Donna. I need the exercise I'd get from running away from dear Donna too. Amen!

Guess I haven't been in here for a couple of days. Not much happening.

I did notice that Sora has a huge patch of dry skin near her tail. The fur has just fallen out. So, last night she got a bath and I used some really good conditioner on the skin. Then this morning I put a little olive oil in her dry food. The dogs are on my desk at work and the bowl is there too. When she realized that there was oil in the food she started liking all the food. There was dog food all over the desk! She finally ate a little of the dry food....now I'm wondering if she's going to end up with diarrhea from the oil and very little food. It's so hard being a parent! lol

Then, on the way to work this morning the announcer says he has just had a call from someone who has lost their pet. A wallaby!! Can you believe that? Stupid people bringing exotic pets into a country they aren't used to. Sure hope it doesn't get hit by a car.

I forced myself to get on the treadmill last night. I was exhausted and didn't want to...but did anyway. Then fell asleep in the tub. Don't know why I am so tired...and I have to sorest back muscles. (had that before I slept in the tub). Maybe I'll have to look up the nearest chiropractor.

Donna, sometimes with sore muscles you get more relief from a massage. Do you have a good massage therapist in your area? Even a brief massage can do wonders, although a full body is even better. (But pricier, too!)

I seem to remember a case of someone in San Angelo, TX having either a small kangaroo or wallaby that got loose, and they had one dickens of a time catching it. Why do people try to make pets out of wild animals? It's crazy!

Because I could really, really use some "calmness" in my life...I thought maybe some of you...my low carb friends could also. So, I want to share this with you......
