Thanks Rob.... I have to be committed or else I will falter faster than oh I don't now a jackrabbit in the snow....lol....anyway after a hard friday, I had a good saturday and sunday.

Got food together sunday for the week, some ham, cheese in the fridge at work for snacks if I need it.... boiled my eggs for breakfast... got out some veggie soup in the freezer for lunch along with my tuna fish....Cooked four hamburgers, dh and I ate two last night and two are for my dinners this week... also some shirmp...might make some shirmp salad....

Got a couple of good workouts on saturday and sunday (water aerobics and watervolleyball) got in lots of water.... and didn't succumb to the voice wanting icecream all weekend (it was in the mid 70's this weekend)....

DH spent a couple of days out in the country last week, and I dropped him off this week for another week out there... want him to get a good month away from his "cronies" that are in the neighborhood that keeps him from his resolve of not drinking....
Being out in the country seems to do him good.... he was so nice to be around this weekend (of course he worked sat and sunday 12 hrs each day) so we weren't around each other much, but the times we were together, no arguing, bi___ing, and we did have a good time together....

Busy week coming... Avon order comes in on thursday, Avon meeting on tuesday, lent starts.... gonna continue with my no sugar....thats it for now.

There are times when I wish I had a place in the country to go to for a week or 2. Somewhere quiet, with no demands on me or my time. I can dream!

Sounds like you have a busy week, the best kind to have to keep us out of trouble.

Oh Nita I know what you mean, this friend is a god send, and I am trying not to take advantage of the situation... she lives on the river, 3 acres, an old house (that they had moved to the spot) oh peacocks, roosters, chickens, etc....

Anyway, I lost 2 lbs last week... total gone is 16 since I got back on track... yeah...

Ate pretty good yesterday....tuna for lunch, shrimp for dinner, veggie soup with lunch and cukes with sour cream for dinner...
little bit of yogurt and blackberries...

thats it for now,

Just catching up on some journal reading.

Wow, you have lost 16 pounds, good for you. I'm hoping to lose some but slow going for me.

Hope you are having a great week.

Thanks Rob, I think I felt so good, I let it go to my head, my mouth, and my hips....I need to reward myself with something other than food...

yesterday and tuesday were a little hard food wise, not sure why, ... anyway, had way too much peanut butter (better stop buying it again) and a little chocholate... no too much, just a little each day... but my meals were perfect and I got in lots of water. So today... no chocholate, no peanut butter... just straight on with my food.
breakfast, egg salad (2 eggs and mayo), 1 slice lc bread... coffee, 1/2-1/2
splenda (I cut out one cup of coffee - the one I drink at home)
Lunch - left over roast, cukes with sour cream, veggie soup
snack - little yogurt and blackberries (little is usually about 1/4 cup)
dinner - left over hamburger patty, salad

water aerobics this am, water volleyball this evening.

looking forward to the weekend....
carolyn

Your daily yogurt sounds so good, and blackberries are my favorite berry of all. I might just have to try this, I know a bit of yogurt every day would be good for me.

Keep it up, you are doing great!

having that little bit of yogurt with berries and splenda gives me a great mouth feel, taste of sweet, and something to feel like it is evil....lol

Not sure what was going on last week with my food, eating, but if I still had a period... it was the week before (I remember wanting to eat everything in sight...luckily I didn;t).. .anyway,, I struggled thru it, made a few bad choices, but not so many that I am mad at myself....I know I will have this struggle now and again, and tried to make the most of it... I didn't eat any ice cream (tho I did want some), nor any chocholate....I did have a couple of pieces of pizza, but ate lots of salads, and drank lots of water....got to the gym on saturday for water aerobics and water volleyball, and yesterday for water volleyball

DH is home, he worked this weekend and decided he missed his home, so I brought him and all his stuff home on friday night (that is where the pizza came in, brought it for a quick dinner at the friends in the country....I know I could have eaten just the toppings, but ... ) anyway... I spent yesterday doing some avon organizing... putting up stuff from my december house show, and hadn't had time to put up (going away for the holidays), dh in treatment center... etc... so I had some time on sunday to do that... yeah. .got tables in den down, everything in boxes....cleared the kitchen table so we can start eating on it again.... just have a few things on it I need to put up....boxed avon order on thrsday night so I didn't have to do it over the weekend... stamped books, was busy... maybe dh will vacuum and clean the floors.......

The friend we stayed with in tenn on the way north is coming in to austin tomorrow sometime...so will have company for a couple of days or so....

thats it for now.

When you're so busy you don't have time to cook, sometimes you just have to eat what you can. As long as you just keep on getting back on track. BTW, where do you get all that energy? Care to share some with me?
