Thanks Nita, going to a birthday party on sunday, so will need to get all my resolves together...this is the group that eats, and eats, and eats.....lol, I know there will be some gumbo, but not sure what else, have to see what I might want to bring.

made it thru yesterday, so today is day 12 no sugar, almost went for some yesterday afternoon.... i had an "I want to eat and eat " day yesterday....
started with egg salad for breakfast, some yogurt and blackberries for a snack at 10:30, at 11:30 I needed something else, I had some queso dip (home made) in the fridge and ate some of my flax see chips with it....lunch at 1:300 was some of my home made stew, it was great - hadn't tasted it since I made it....
made it thru the rest of the afternoon with nothing else .,... oh I did have 1/2 of a small apple....Dinner was sauerkraut and pork stew that I had made on tuesday night (one of my girlfriends came over and had dinner with me)...so i ended up with 39 carbs and 1182 calories... little high on the carbs, but.... no sugar....I did get two hours in the gym yesterday so that should have helped...
My friend brought over girl scout cookies, the peanut butter kind, and put them on the counter while I was heating up dinner, I said I don't want any and can you please put them away so I don't see them.... she did and I didn't miss having them...
Onward to the weekend,
hopefully will not have too much trouble keeping on track...

this weekend wasn't a total disaster, but I did quake at the party yesterday and had some carrot cake and chocholate pecan pie... but today is back to my correct eating... I came home from the party early, watched a Hallmark Movie :that Russell Girl, and by 11pm was in bed.... weekend tired me out....
anyway,
today is
Eggs for breakfast
lunch shrimp salad or tuna salad
dinner pork and sauerkraut stew.
on track

Hi Carolyn,
Just wanted to drop a note and say kudos for heading to the gym the other day. Something I haven't gotten back to yet. Getting right back to it the day after the party was a strong move. Good for you!

Hi Carolyn...I agree, good job getting right back on track. There are going to be those lil bumps in the road but getting right back on track is the key. Have a wonderful week.

I guess I was a little hard on myself, I know what I am susposed to do, even with the little bumps in the way....anyway...
I lost 4 lbs last week, making it a total of 14 lbs since I started back on my journey on the 14th....

So I am pretty happy with that.... This morning I did wateraerobics for an hour, DH is coming home today, but we are going to take him out to the country to a friends for a week or two so he can transititon back to his world.... his job has been saved for him, so he can go back to work this weekend, out in the country he can fish (they are right on a double creek) and contemplate his navel if he needs to....read, relax, and set up his next steps....

I didn't have any thing for breakfast prepared this morning so I grabbed a double meat crossant at burger king and threw away the crossant...just ate the meat, egg and cheese... it was satisfying, but not that great...need to make up some eggs this evening.

thanks for the pats on the back nita, vicki and linda, I almost blew it yesterday by going for those dark chocholate kisses I am saving for dh, (he is going to take them with him...) but I went for some deli ham instead.... took away that craving i tell you....

Carolyn, 14 pounds if just fantastic! Now, you just hang in there, pretty soon you'll be telling us that you hit the 30 lb mark. Then we'll have a virtual party for you!

thanks April and Rob and Nita for stopping by I am so totally committed this time around that I want to kick myself in the pants for wasting so much time....anyway,

I made it thru that lunch yesterday with flying colors, so glad I had that yogurt and blackberries or it would have been disaster...

I wasn't that hungry when I got home...so I did all my weekend chores last night - laundry - 2 loads - one still in dryer, cleaned kitchen, swept floor, vacummed living room, took off sheets in bedroom, (they are in the load in the dryer) folded clothes and put away...stamped avon books, got gym bag ready for this morning, straightened up living room so it didn't look too clutered....so this weekend I can concentrate on something else I usually don't have time for ... like that room I keep working on little by little....

finally ate some left overs = steak from going out last saturday, some swiss cheese, and some turkey I cooked up last week....

Today having lunch out with a friend, going to have salad....

did water aerobics this morning and watervolley ball this evening....

looking forward to just relaxing tonite..dh will be back in town tonite after being out in the country for a few days, already have his uniform cleaned, so should be a pretty easy weekend... need to see what he wants me to cook for saturday night dinner....sunday I will probably take him out to dinner on the way back out of town...

thats it for now...
onward.

You must have gotten an energy burst! When I get home from work, I'm doing good to drag myself into the kitchen to throw supper together, let alone do laundry, sweeping and vacuuming. How about sharing some of that energy?

Have a great day.

not sure where it came from, but with dh out in the country, and him coming in this weekend, I didn't want to spend my time this weekend doing that stuff, so I wasn't hungry, and just started when I got home... did laundry, took off sheets, etc...one at a time, clicked it off in my head as I did it and went, well, just a little more... would take breaks and sit in my chair, but there wasn't anything on tv that interested me so....

wish I could bottle that energy up, will need it tonite, as I know I will be tired when I get home from volleyball.

I keep remembering how easy this way of life was, and how when you get things prepared, and ready to eat, than you take out the guess work and just eat what you bring to work (or make at home)
anyway,
yesterday had lunch out with a friend, had a mexican grilled chicken salad... lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, salsa... it was susposed to have black beans, and I asked them to hold the black beans....

dinner was some of the stew I made last week, (froze it and pulled it out),
got home (volleyball was cancelled cause the pool was yucky looking....)and did a few chores... folded the last load of clothes, cleaned out the car(had avon books, orders all over the back seat) set up bags to take to some customers...get my avon order on line (it doesn't have to go in till sunday, just did the preliminary so I don't have to rush with it on sunday...)

Guess my evenings have been busy Nita, not sure what is going on, I know I have been sleeping better this week, maybe getting enough sleep is the thing... so used to sleeping 2-3 hours waking up, sleeping another couple of hours and never feeling like I get good sleep ....

anyway, onward thru another day and another upcoming weekend, have a good one all
