Thanks for stoppin by .... goddess, rob, bbj.... had company for about a week and was busy at work... little breather now...
last week was good, didn't get to weigh on tuesday cause I am now teaching water aerobics in the mornings on tuesday and thursday....long story...
any way, I think I might have lost another lb last week, but will check on thursday to be sure... I am glad I don't have a scale at home or I would be on it constantly... I know Nita likes having hers at home, but not me....
I would obsess too much about every little gain, loss, etc....

food wise, for lunch I have some chicken, salad, a little yogurt and blackberries.
breakfast is hard boiled egg salad
dinner, left over pork chops and spinach...
thats it for now.

weighed in today, didn't lose, didn't gain.. I am happy with that, figured I was due for a stop... but I think I did pretty good so far, and am looking for the next lbs to slip away.
water aerobics this am, volleyball tonite...
breakfast = egg salad
lunch chicken breasts with cukes,
dinner spinach, pork chop, cauliflower

looking forward to a nice weekend, weather here has been spring like (in the 70s in the day), tho they do think it will freeze again soon....

thats it for now

I looked at the extended forecast for Austin (so I know what to pack next week), and it looks like 60s and 70s. Of course, the meeting room will probably be frigid - I always take a jacket or sweater to these meetings, even when they are in the summer and it's 100+ outside!

Enjoy the pork chop, it's one of my favorites.

yes it has been pretty mild here (mostly in the 70's) and you are right those meeting rooms tend to be cold (fridgid).. sent you another pm... asking if there was anything in particular you wanted to eat...
otherwise, just call when you get in and we will figure out tuesday night dinner.

Glad to help you in your menu preps Rob...lol... dh forgot to add something to the meatloaf, (spices - usually uses picapepper and just used a little worschester sauce) oh well.... he is slowly getting back into the things he likes...food, cooking, yard work...he seems to be handling things ok this time around,.. not pushing,... trying to let him slowly slink back...
Yes Nita, charley and I both enjoyed dinner on tuesday also.. nice meeting K, I was kind of glad the two meals out that were cancelled, were cancelled, both of the people were sick and I don't want to get any more sicknesses this year... I was glad to have food in my drawer at work so I didn't have to go out and get something....
tonite is out for another friends birthday....
Chinese... I know I will eat a little off plan, but will keep it to a bare minium....
this weekend planning on salad for lunch and dinners....
saturday - maybe some steak with a nice salad on the side...
sunday probably left overs....from saturday...
thats it for now...
take care all
carolyn(had a cold front hit this week)

Carolyn - A little cornstarch in the sauce won't add that many carbs. Just try and pass on the rice. (It's Ok if you had a few tablespoons though. I won't tell). Have a great sunday!

didn't do to bad on friday... the chinese place we went to is a family style. (they serve large platters, and we were sitting at a table that has a lazy susan and we all shared...)anyway, hot and sour soup, orange beef, sesame chicken, sweet/sour pork, shirmp and scallops in garlic sauce, and shirmp and cashews....
I had a little rice, maybe 1/2 cup, and this place doesn't heavily batter their sesame, pork, orange beef, so almost no coating... something light, maybe rice flower, not sure what they use but it isn't that heavy thick flour battered stuff you get a most places...

saturday...lunch... mexican salad, dinner was shrimp and salad
sunday, egg salad for lunch, dinner was mexican beef stew (carne gusida) I made it up and had with lettuce tomatoes,
salsa

today.... egg salad, lunch - enchilade cassarole...
not sure what dh is making for dinner
later
