Carolyn - I know what you mean about lack of sleep. I rarely get more than 5 hours and some night i have to make do with 3 1/2 or 4. That leaves a lot of hours in the day to snack. Have agood tuesday!

having been lurking for awhile, I am back eating right and working my program....working on going from 30 to 20 carbs within the next two days...today is hard boiled eggs/1 slice lc bread for breakfast with a little mayo
lunch is taco salad, with lettuce, turkey taco meat, tomato, cukes, hot sauce and some sourcream,
dinnner, not sure what dh is going to cook for tonite...
if nothing good there is cooked chicken in there and I can have it with some salad.
Anyway, I had a long hard talk with myself and realized that I am just doing myself more damage than good, by not eating correctly and getting rid of this weight...
after I get back down to 20 carbs, I am planning on staying there for about two weeks ... then slowly add a little more and go from there..need to get in more exercise... will see what I can do with that...
later all

made it thru yesterday, not sugar, almost on plan, I ended the day with 1926 calories, and 48 carbs, but going to make it less on both counts today....
Yesterday wasn't bad at all... I had some pretzels and peanut butter snacks in my desk, and I portioned out only one portion and put it away... I was proud of my self.. even tho I shouldn't have had any at all....by the end of this week, I am hoping to be back to 20 carbs a day and between 1000-1200 calories...

had a good work out this morning, I worked my class out pretty hard doing intervals in the pool... some with water weights some without...

breakfast was 2 hard boiled eggs, with mayo and 1 slice lc toast
coffee, splenda and half and half.... had to have some extra potassium cause my legs were cramping this morning so I had a small banana....

Lunch either going out for a salad or will eat left over hot dogs sauerkraut, and chili, and some coleslaw....

dinner, again not sure if I am going out or not, but if not, salad not sure what I am putting on it, but I have some pastrami, cheese, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, cukes, lots of good things to put on salad...

onward

Your salad does sound scrumptious. I love a little lettuce with lots of toppings. Can't wait for the lettuce to come up in the garden, so we can have fresh every day.

You & Charlie enjoy your weekend.

Thanks for dropping by Rob and Nita, I did have a good weekend and hope you did also....we had a booth (tv station I work at) at a 10th annual Dia De Los Ninos, Dia De Los Libros... Day of the little children, day of the books... and gave away books, did tattos... (wipe on/off) and helped children make capes to go with the Super Readers from Super Why (Children's reading program we have..)
It was fun (that was saturday)... came home and did a bunch of stuff I usually do no sunday - boiled eggs, made tea, sugar free punch something other than water to drink... enjoyed.... shopped at costco, and had left overs for dinner on saturday - roast beef and salad...
sunday finished my chores...laundry, vacuum sealed stuff from costco, cooked some pork chops for the week, and made a pork and sauerkraut stew for dinner last night and during the week...
Tonite is a little celebration for the Avon group I am in to celebrate getting to Circle of excellance this past year (2007) - we sold 150,000 dollars more than last year (approv 650 reps) so going to Marie Calendars for this tonite...
today i have had 2hard boiled eggs, 1 slice of lc bread, and one cup of coffee and cream...
lunch is going to be a chef salad...
looking forward to that...
light munchies at Marie Calendars... not sure what that means...
so will have to see when I get there if it is something I can eat...

Ordered Richard SImmons Sweaten to the oldies this morning.. been wating to get a dvd copy of those so I can get up in the AM when I dont' go to the gym and work out a little... needing to get more exercise in my routine and thought Richard would be a fun way to do it...

thats it for now

Your booth for the reading program sounds like it was a lot of fun.

Richard Simmons is so hyper, I don't think I could keep up with him. Maybe when he gets a little older and starts slowing down a bit.........

lol I doubt if he will ever slow down, I have some of his vhs;s and he isn't too bad on the tapes, in person yes... but he does give you a good solid workout.

taking a few days to get acclimated to Richard Simmons... did sweating 1 yesterday afternoon, and sweatin 2 this morning...
(my pool is going to be closed down for about a week, so I am going to hopefully be doing richard daily....) anyway, I needed to get food out of my system for a few days, and so I went to the health food store yesterday and bought lemons, limes, oranges, maple syrup (grade b) and squeezed, and squeezed, and made up some lemonade (master cleanser) and am going to (hopefully) fast for a couple of days --- three is my goal, maybe do a little more, might not, but will hopefully be able to know that I don't have to eat those things that I always want to eat but shouldn't.

time is just ticking away
