Default Mid-Year Mada 2008

Whew!

Well, we're finally moved, settled in and summer vacationed, even, so I'm ready to get back to serious LCing, regular exercise and journaling!

We moved to Bismarck, ND in mid-March, and I don't think I've been on LCE since Feb. This site is really cool! (Great work, Goddess!) Looking forward to exploring the new digs.

On the weight loss front, I'm still in the 190's... was down to 192, but am back up to 196, I'm sure due to being lax during the move, and time there after. But, the good news is there is a fantastic Y here, which we joined, and lots more places to shop for groceries, etc. I have no excuse not to make goal this year.

Onward and upward, as they say...

Hi Goddess - thanks for the welcome back. (Saw the funny "Yoohoo, I see you lurking message" when I first looked at the site the other day because I wasn't logged in. It cracked me up and had me checking over my shoulder at the same time. LOL!

Hi Heather! - Yeah, we moved - we're not quite neighbors anymore (well, maybe "next door" neighbors since MT and ND are side by side). Thanks for the encouraging words, BTW.

Today was a completely lazy day. The wind and weather here was crappy, so we didn't leave the house. I spent most of the day goofing around online. L-A-Z-Y. Bleah. I need to shake it off 'cause tomorrow it's clean the house day. AND, I'm quitting the Diet Coke (yet again) cold turkey tomorrow. With the packing and moving, I slipped back into an old habit. Bad Mada, bad. But tomorrow is a new day, plus I'm armed with ibuprofen and L-phenylalanine to help me thru it. Then Monday it's back to the gym. Need to get my M-F routine going again. The kids love to go to the playroom, so I have no excuse.

Am thinking about joining Nita's 100 day challenge. Trying to decide what I should do 100 days of, though. Maybe water intake? I dunno. Need to mull that one over. I do like 100 day challenges, though. I think they speak to my inner OCD child.

Also need to figure out why, yet again, the smilies on this site are not animated for me. I go on other sites and have no trouble with animation, smilie or otherwise. It's a baffler.

Well, Hi, Mada! So glad to see you back!

I don't envy you moving, I hate to move. And it really throws you out of your routine, too. Then you have to re-learn the routine all over again!

So great to have you back.

On the plus side, though, moving sure is a great time to streamline...good luck!
